That is exactly what mine told me she was looking for. She really fixated on the fact I was bulimic in high school and my dad had been an alcoholic. She then drilled me on my 'addictive' behaviors. She also wanted to know about my support system. She even told me at the end that is was not really to look for conditions but to see if you are in the frame of mind to handle all that comes with the surgery. So, if you are fine on medication you should be OK. Good luck to you!!!

I am selfish...possibly for the first time in my life.

Good for both of you!! You have to do this for yourself and no one else. It is such a personal and emotional experience. I hope my hubby finds me more attractive but it is me, and me alone that has to live with the choice I made. So far, it was the right choice. -

Different kinds of Food
worm2872 replied to tink65's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Once and a while I will have a few almonds chewed to nothing. They are good for a quick snack at work I I can't stop. I was released to regular food at 8 weeks including salads. Not going there yet don't have room after the protein. I will have a few crackers as well with a baby bel or lunch meat. I have mixed feelings about tuna right now. I need to try the low fat/ff mayo. -

Am I Able to Eat TOO Much?
worm2872 replied to Losing4Lundyn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well there are a few of us on here that are at the half cup size at about two months out and can eat tortillas. (Ive just picked at them). So I don't think you have stretched anything. I would go back to basics with food high protein first then veggies. You pouch will be able to hold more over time. Hang in there and good luck. -
Girl, you sound like me. Lol. The good people of the board pulled me off the ledge last week. We will be fine. Now if I can get that to sink into my brain I will be good. Hang in there and take it day by day.

Haven't tried them yet. Thanks!

Hi!! Welcome. We are here for you! I was a mess the first two weeks. Crying, pimples, greasy hair and husband stuck to the couch. Lol. He's great but... :-). You'll be ok. I'm seven weeks out and feel pretty great. What ever you need just ask. We will be here for you. -
Hungry and worried! Help!
worm2872 replied to beth423's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I saw your post on MFP. I agree. It's hard to stretch your pouch unless you over eat all the time and you'd feel that. I'm only 7 weeks out but I can tell you at my TOM I don't get hunger but I need to eat more often. My blood sugar gets low faster so my body is hungry. Take a deep breath and just go back to basics with food as the others stated so well. -

I can't take the smell. You do get used to it the farther out you are. When I open the container I still hold it away from my face. Hang in there!!! -
