    I keep trying on my smaller stuff. I almost past up two pairs. I will wear a fitted top with baggy pants or the reverse. I just feel worse if everything is clown like.
  2. DOS 11-19-12 263 Today 227. Slow and steady I just hope it keeps up. Getting better at working out but need to do more.

  4. I think this is why I do shakes and a protein bar now and then. Love the label and it's easy. Love yogurt and baby bel cheese for the same reason.

    First Day Home Jitters!

    The heating pad was my savor and my lazy z boy. You'll be fine. I was clueless for days even though I prepared and read over and over. Good luck.

    If One More Person!

    Oh I know... I was told "you are not big enough". WTH I was two pounds shy of 300! That's not ok. I know they mean well but it is like I tossed a coin.
  7. Well, I do a shake with milk in the morning about 240. Two or three snacks at around 200 calories. Then lunch and dinner between 150-200. I get between 700-800 and the weight has been coming off better. My NUT recommended this. I also feel much better eating every few hours. I don't get queasy or a headache. Plus it speeds up your metabolism. Sky, I can't eat for thirty minutes. I have no patience. I'm still struggling with chewing though. I such a fast eater.

    Decaf coffee or herbal tea are they ok

    I was allowed decaf right after surgery. I couldn't handle the taste at that point. I have to admit I drink a cup of regular in the morning now. One vice...

    Hunger dorsnt go away?

    Not the way it was before but you'll still get hungry. I'm two months post op and have to eat every 3-4 hours. If not I get low blood sugar (not diabetic). But my body I trying to survive on 750 calories a day.
  10. Yep. Same here. 11/19 Surgery 263 now 229. It was two months yesterday. Was told the same thing. Should be at about 40 pounds. 34 is not bad but the struggle. I'm at around 700-800 calories. NUT wants 900. I do know when I shake it up a bit ill see a small drop. Water fluctuates. Protein on avg 70-80. At least I'm losing. But I'm still frustrated. I need to exercise more I guess. But in the past if I exercise too much I will go into starvation mode and have to eat more. That scares me too. But I guess some there are so many of us in this boat we are normal. Hang I there and let's keep supporting each other. Reading this really helps.

    I'm on two stool softeners a day and milk of magnesia a few times a week. I have to. If not ugh!!!

    Panda, I'm so sorry! But you seem to be a strong and beautiful woman. You'll get thru this. About eight years ago I got down to about 170 pounds. My hubby thought I wanted a new man so started cheating on line. Of course he never mentioned his insecurities to me so I thought all was well. Nothing physical but mental maybe just as bad if not worse. We got thru it so I knew this was going to be a huge challenge. We talk constantly about it. He does it again, he's gone. Even after almost 20 years.

  14. Some are ok with rice in small amounts and that would be fully cooked (inflated). I would talk to your NUT.

    Same here. I hiccup even when I drink too fast. You just have to eat slow and listen to your body.

    Cream of crab soup

    Ooo. Either scares me. Crab cakes can be greasy (butter) ask how they are prepared. Also the romulade (sp?) can be mayo based so go light. The crab soup is the same way. Broth based should be a go but cream based, I wouldn't eat in a restaurant. Probably high fat. Get details of how they made. You be ok. :-)

  20. Prayers and hugs!!! I would have your nutritionist for your kidney issues consult with one that specializes in WLS like RNY. You have two very special needs and just one may not be "all knowing" like drs. :-). Good luck and we are here for you!!!

    I'm sorry to hear about your struggles but it's seems like you are a strong and determined person. I'm so glad your surgeon helped you!! Good luck! I was the same way I NEVER told anyone my weight. My hubby doesn't even know. But I felt I had to come clean and we are all in this together!

    Yep. Worst of my life. Hideous. Now the next two are late. Grrr
  23. Ill have a few bites of bread now and then to keep from over doing it or snapping. I do eat few crackers that's my one vice. Only water type crackers and maybe two or three. I like the minis.
  24. Ugh rice. Boooo! Ill eat a few very small bites of tortilla only after my Protein. I've found a few nibbles of bread now and then keeps me from snapping.

    Hi Roxy! Good to see you but not good why :-(. Im so sorry your struggling. It sounds like an ulcer or structure. What do the drs say? Hang in there. Hugs!!
