I can't have onions yet. I'm 5 weeks. No celery or onion unless it's put in a food processor. However grilled might be ok. Call your nutritionist to find out for sure.

Congratulations and welcome! -
My nutritionist had plan on what I could have and when. It was 4 weeks post op I could have seafood. Only 2oz of course. Then a week later I could have chicken and turkey. And a week later lean beef and pork. The first two weeks were liquids. ( shakes, Soups, anything you could fit through a straw- not using a straw but that size chunks). Then soft foods such as eggs, Beans, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc for 2 weeks.

Gastric Bypass Surgery Progress Pictures
working4shoes replied to JustFluffy's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Well I had RNY in feb 2004. Started at 324. Lost down to 190. I kept that weight give or game 10lbs for 4 yrs. I got preg in 2007 and after not during, after I started to gain. My intestine where it attaches to my aroma was dialated so the food would just move through. And I would be hungry again. Now I also wasn't making the best choices and took up bad habits. I gained up to 274. Luckily my surgeon was willing to help me and give me a new start. I do not want to fail this time. -
Woo hoo! Congrats!

I'm walking but not as consistently or daily. I'm working on that. I am getting my protein in. Since this is my2nd time my dr said it may be slower due to my body has adjusted to the malnutrition. -
Good luck! You will have us all waiting here to hear how it went.

Protein Shots! No Not The Painful Kind!
working4shoes replied to barebones's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I found one and it is 15 grams of protein for 1 oz. it's called pro-stat64. It's sugar free and I think it is not the Colegen protein as DLC spoke about. It doesn't taste great but for 1ounce it will do. -
