HOping I can find strength within. My grandmother is not doing very well and I am her caregiver during the day. She has pretty much given up. Sitting in the hospital is hard. The food there Is NOT healthy which I don't get at all. I can't exercise there and when I get home I have my family to take are of. UGH! I'm hoping I can stay on track and plan things out I'm packing my lunch so I don't have to worry about that. The other day I just sat there and remembered that just 1 floor up was where I had my sugery and that I'm glad I didn't wait that she got to see me healthy with my diabetes under control. She has always been my biggest cheerleader so maybe the strength I need will be in making her proud and doing this!

Best of luck to everyone! You are right I didn't have to comment, so with that I wish you all the best in your continued paths. Time to step away for a bit. I don't want anymore drama for anyone. Last comment, no I don't pay her insurance but insurance fraud is costing us all, having said that I do believe she should have been approved due to her other issues.

Neither of them were respectful. She called names also. She wore ankle weights and I took offense to the too, cheating the system isn't right either but I'm guess I'm in the minority here thinking its wrong.

My dr did NOT allow anything crime it all had to be clear; broth, jello,Popsicles with the exception of protein drinks. I NEVER want to eat jello again. In the end it's all worth it. Hang in there

Ty both. It's been very emotional today but so far I'm doing pretty good. I brought some grapes and bottles of water the nurses are great and getting me ice. Packed my lunch and I'm staying on track so far today. She was always worried about my diabetes and I'm glad she got to know that my sugars are under control.

Look into taking the vitamin called biotin it promotes hair growth. My nutritionist suggested it.

Sounds like you are backed up, I was told over the counter laxatives and fiber

Had mine Friday morning went home Sunday. I was out at Target within a week of surgery and back to work. I had no complications surgically

I went back to work after a week. They take my drain out on hospital release. I was slow but still as bossy lol

Still 68 in one sitting is a great drink. Once you can eat tuna and cottage cheese and eggs it all adds up pretty fast

Really this is stupid, he gave his opinion, you don't have to agree its America but going back and forth is childish and calling names and typing insults is just sillly. I don't agree with skirting the system with ankle weights and etc BUT I also think you should have been approved for all you other reasons. We are here to support doesn't mean we have to agree,.
