Hello all, Had surgery 2 & 1/2 years ago. I went from 373 to 212, very happy. In the last 3 months or so, I've become hungry all the time. Just wanted to know if this is common and tricks to deal with it. Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone.

I couldn't sit still for the first 8 months. Pain, Pain, and. more Pain. Then it just stopped. I think my body compensated for the lack of "padding" on my behind and made some adjustments. There is light at the end of the tunnel and the pain in the @$$ was well worth it. Good Luck to all

Hi out there in "Loserville". Hope everyone is doing well. I'm 23 months out, lost my other half and am feeling great. Hunger is really creeping back in and I wonder if I'm alone with this. I try to eat a small meal 5 times a day so I'm not starving myself. I'm actually looking at the time now to see when it is time to eat. I'm so afraid of failing that this is weighing on me. ( no pun intended ) Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Oh, by the way, I've been maintaining this weight for about 7 months. I feel this is a good weight for me..

Hi out there, I'm 17 months out, down 150+ lbs. and feeling fantastic. I've noticed I'm getting a little hungrier now and can eat more before filling up. My Nut. says at this stage my pouch is approx. 10 ozs. I've stabilized at 190- 192 and I'm really pretty bony. Still, it scares me a little with the added hunger. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

LOL, I know what you mean. You can see my ribcage for heaven sakes ( in the past if I saw ribs, I ate em). Veins in my arms stick out like a body builders. Very strange. But I'm Lovin It.

The wife says it's cause I have no butt anymore but I want to hear from you guys. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks and good luck to all.

LovinIt replied to punk.rock.mama's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've been using them for 8 months now. Love em and my labs are perfect. No hair loss so the protein must be getting absorbed. -

watching people eat
LovinIt replied to hajones5891's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ditto, I go out to lunch with the same people every day and I can't believe how much they eat. What I really can't believe is the fact that 8 months ago I was doing the same thing. -
I was told "absolutely no gum". It was explained to me, that on the off chance it was swallowed it could possibly have to be surgically removed due to the small opening into our intestines. That was enough for me to toss the Juicy Fruit.

How many times a day do you eat? I try for every 3 hours to keep the hunger down.

Personally, I'd rather have a Snickers bar!

LovinIt replied to michelecaples's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Isn't it GREAT? Same here as far as size drops. I've been going to thrift stores and it's working out for me. Keep up the good work, you must be feeling pretty good about yourself. -

Lets Hear Some Bragging!
LovinIt replied to kisersassy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Down 108 lbs in 6 months. Went from size 52 (tight) to 42 ( soon to be 40 ) waist. 3 or 4x shirt to XL. Salvation Army and me are best friends now. -
Ditto...I'm really worried about overeating too. I record everything (MyFitnessPal) A staple meal for me is; 1/4 cup edamame & 1-2 ozs beef jerkey. At 51/2 months out I'm starting to get some hunger pangs so I'm trying to eat every 2 1/2 hours. I can and have eaten a cup of soup as long as it's not to dense. Good Luck to you
