Thanks guys! I actually got very disappointed on Friday. Talked to the surgery coordinator who assured me that I would be scheduled the week of Aug 5-10, informed me that the earliest would be Aug 20, so I will have to wait til hopefully the week before Labor Day. I have to make sure I am available for my kids to start school on Aug. 20, my youngest starts Kindergarten this year and I don't want to miss that milestone. But I am thinking positive and knowing it will be here soon!

I havent really been eating everything, but I haven't really been watching what I eat either. But I don't have an official date yet, though I've been told by Aug. 15

I agree with JenneLiza, I had a trainer tell me once that it only takes 6 workouts that are the same for the muscles to learn and adjust. They recommended changing routines after 6 workouts.

My kids are 5, 12, & 14. All three at some point in their life went through a phase of fearing me dying. Its hard on them and you bc obviously death is something that happens. But don't let that hold you back. My kids know I am planning to have the surgery and Im doing it to make me healthy and prolong my life. They are excited for me. My youngest doesnt like the idea of surgery, but when she brings it up I tell her all the fun things Mommy will be able to do and it eases her mind...good luck.

Hang in there! My liquid diet is coming up, not lookin forward to it. But I refuse to give up on myself! You have it in you!

I used to think about the # on the scale, or the size, I realized looking back at photos that neither of those were good. I think its more of what fits with you mentally and physically. Everybody has their own ideal size. What I used to think was ideal, wasn't. When I look at where my ideal weight according to BMI is, it really is right on.

You look fabulous, you must be so proud of yourself! Congrats on your wedding and have fun "exercising" on your honeymoon.

Wow thats awesome!

A long time ago, I was a size 4, but I looked hollow and unhealthy...I think I will be happy with size 8, Im a 18 in some things and a 22/24 in others...i don't like things snug so I tend to go up a size to hide more of me.

Welcome glad you joined us, Ive only been a member a week, but definitely have learned a lot here. I started researching over a year ago. I am hoping to have my surgery around the same time as yours! Best wishes on your journey.
