Weird moving feeling in my stomach
shrinkingDEE posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had terrible gas/constipation pains (horrible!) the day before yesterday up until midday yesterday. Although I had a BM and feel much better, today when I was out for a walk I felt as if something was moving inside my stomach like swaying almost. It wasn't painful but as I walked there was that uncomfortable swaying feeling. Anyone ever experienced that? Oh, and I am almost 9 months and down 94lbs. -
How can I tell I'm full? How do I know if I'm drinking slow enough?
shrinkingDEE replied to Nel's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This might be a little weird. But a key sign that I am full is when my nose starts to get runny. For some odd reason I get a runny nose when I'm full lol -
Weight at 6 months
shrinkingDEE replied to Ms. Mandy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
At 6 months I was down 89 lbs. I'm currently 7 months (almost 8) out and I'm down 94 lbs. I don't know how normal my average is but I hope it helps. -

I'm treating my mom and myself to a 4 day weekend escape to the Dominican Republic next weekend. I just booked everything and I'm excited and then BOOM! It hit me.... What am I going to EAT? I've been there quite a few times and I don't recall too many healthy protein options. I just don't want to upset my pouch so far from home and I don't really want to push my limits. Anyone had to deal with vacationing after bypass??

Once We're Able To Eat Reg...heres A Protein Filled Breakfast!

Ham egg cups: To assemble, grab a cupcake/muffin pan and place a thin slice of ham or turkey in each space. Sprinkle finely chopped red and green peppers at the bottom. Crack an egg into each ham "cup". Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 mins. Remove it and serve. This is my mom incorporating ideas for when I'm able to eat. Nom! Nom! Nom! -
I'm 25 and had GB on 7/17. I was 247lbs and I am currently 180lbs (maybe a little less) I still have 40-45 lbs to go but overall I feel great. I do have minor skin sagging in my lower quad area but nothing too major yet.

Besides Your Weight
shrinkingDEE replied to Immagetitdown12's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Before everything revolved around food. If I was going out with friends I made sure to pick a place with good food, for work and on weekends I normally already knew what I was going to eat. Now, since food is one of the last things on my mind (I have to be reminded to eat, that's how far off my mind food is) I can enjoy activities more. I don't need food to be the highlight of my night. And I can shop in "regular" sized stores. I'm much more confident too. -
I went to ihop yesterday. Scrambled eggs with cheese. One bite of bacon and one bite of waffle. Btw, kiwi I LOVE your new pic. You're looking great!

I stopped having regular menstrual cycles at around the age of 15. Since then I would get my period maybe 3-4 times a year and it would last about a day or so. Over time it slowed down more and more up until I would last years without a period. (I had an IUD put in last year and before that my last period was almost 2 years past) After surgery (now 6 weeks post op) I've been spotting on and off. I wonder if it's because of the hormones and changes in the way my body now balances things or is it just due to the weight loss??
