I think you are doing well. Just remember we are all different and we all loose at a different. I think 22 pounds on 1 month is good. I'm only at 25 pounds in almost 2 months and when I went to see the Dr they said it was good that I was on track. Just remember it took years and years to put the weight on it will take time to come off. Stay positive it will all work out in the end

Hello everyone, I have been reading up on post for the last few months and I just don't understand why we are all told different things at the hospital. See I was told that after 5 days start purée food and after that if you could take in regular food well chewed then to go for it. I'm lucky that I have not had any problem with food and all is going down well and loosing weight at the same time. My Dr told me not to baby my stomac they said to try different things but not over do it. I keep reading stuff that people are still on liquid after 1 month. That is the worse thing you could do to your stomac if you do that. I wish everyone best of luck. I know I'm doing well and eating what I want just very small portions

Well I'm 2 months post op and I will not call it cheating but yes I have had thing that I should not have had but of course only 1 or 2 bites. And still loosing weight

My friend had the surgery 4 months ago and now has glass of wine once in a while and let me tell you after 2 glass I could see a difference doesn't take make anymore to get drunk

Glad you had surgery I know you wanted to back out but I'm glad you did it you won't be sorry See I'm passing gas no problem my issue is I can't get out of bed since I sleep on the left side of bed I feel great and as soon as I have to get up OMG. The muscle on my left hurts so much. I had surgery on June 30 so I how thing will. Get better But like they all said. Walk walk walk

Hi there Just any suggesting on how to get out of bed? See I feel fine until I get out of bed and then my left side just hurts for a long time I must be doing something wrong ?

Little scared now I just had surgery and I'm back home wish I would say it easy but it's not I'm glad I have family support but I just can't wait not to be in pain anymore. It's just hurts and no one could help me with the pain. I know I should be better in 1 week but it feels so far away.
