I'm a lot bigger than you but my Dr told me not to lose more than 10 lbs. So I kinda yo-yo'ed up and down on purpose. I know that sounds bad but I didn't want to risk not being covered. So one month I would lose 12 then next month gain 4 back. Your case is different since you are on the borderline. If I were you I would just maintain your current weight. Lose a lb or 2 here and there. I feel like I'm teaching you how to work the system, but sometimes you haves to!

I was scared too and also suffer from panic attacks. You have gone this far! You can do it! This 2 HOUR surgery is going to add YEARS to your life!!! You will be so relieved once you wake up a new person!

I've learned that the wrist monitors aren't very accurate. I'm still getting dizzy because the doctor told me it takes 2 weeks for the BP meds to leave your system. I feel a little better everyday though. Hope you feel better soon

I was taken off my blood pressure medicines after only 2 weeks post op. If I were you I would go see your pcp. They will probably take you off your medicine. I was feeling very dizzy also. My blood pressure was 90 over 60! Good luck!

I have never been thin so I really don't know how it feels. I would love to be a size 6/8. Actually anything out of plus size would be Fab!!

I know that it doesn't have any protein but I am making low fat potato salad for my brothers birthday party tomorrow. Have any of you eaten potato salad since your surgery? I don't want to eat a lot but I make really good potato salad and would like to eat a little.

Its a Pittsburgh thing. Its a salad with breaded chicken dipped in hot sauce and it has fries in it.

I have anxiety attacks before surgery. I'm about 2 and a half weeks out and my anxiety has gotten much worse. Has anyone else ever experienced this? It is keeping me from exercising because I get anxiety and light headed when I stand up. I went to my doctor yesterday. She did blood work and came back normal. She took me off my blood pressure medicine completely. Yay! As the day goes on my anxiety gets better. I am getting snippy with people and pretty irritable. I am eating soft foods now and I haven't had a problem yet. Please comment if you have ever experienced that

I am 2 weeks out also. I had tilapia and it was fine. Also scramble eggs with cheese and salsa! Refried beans with cheese salsa and ff sour cream. All yummy
