To all my pregnant mommas...do you feel like you can eat more on certain days? This is nothing compared to what I used to eat preop but today since 9am (it's now 4:30pm) I've had 1/2 lenders bagel w/cream cheese, a turkey sandwich on 1/2 roll w/lettuce & tomato, cup of veggie Soup and some chips. Bagel for bkfast @9 nd the rest was a hospital lunch at 12pm (took me 2hrs to eat lunch) I have not had anything to drink since lunch at 12-2 besides the soup and I feel like I'm starving just 2 1/2 hrs after finishing lunch :-( OAN...I had an Iron infusion today so maybe that's why the increases appetite. Idk but now I'm itching for my hubby to get home with my salad. I feel so hungry. DOS:358 CW:270 SD:1/28/13 BabyBoyDueDate: 11/14/13

I ate a basic one at 6w post op. just lettuce, tomato & peeled cucumbers. It sat very well and (tmi) it actually helped with my constipation lol DOS:358 CW:270 SD:1/28/13 BabyBoyDueDate: 11/14/13

With me...it's low Iron & hypoglycemia. If you don't have any complications, there's no reason why you can't have a home birth. DOS:358 CW:270 SD:1/28/13 BabyBoyDueDate: 11/14/13 -

Also canned chicken is good too, prepared the same way. I ate crackers at 4w post op but follow whatever your surgeon recommends. Even when I did eat crackers the most I could eat was like 3 or 4. DOS:358 CW:270 SD:1/28/13 BabyBoyDueDate: 11/14/13

I mentioned it in the "What are you eating" thread but I do a lot of boneless, skinless chicken breast w/taco seasoning in the crockpot. Either I just throw it in frozen with the seasoning & a little Water and shred it when it's done. Or sometimes I cube it for a different texture. You can also use turkey breast or a beef roast. When it's done you can make a variety of things, such as mixed with your fav shredded cheese and rolled in whatever wrap you like (tortilla etc). I make a few dozen of these and freeze them (reheated in microwave or in the oven if you like it crunchy) so my son has quick Snacks or even a meal served with salad. I top my salads with it. With a can of rotel & cheese for a Mexican style omelette. In vegetable broth w/tomato or whatever you like. I find all sorts of ways to use it. DOS:358 CW:270 SD:1/28/13 BabyBoyDueDate: 11/14/13

I thought that's what you meant. I eat them sometimes. There's a jamaican place by my home that makes the best beef patties and curry chicken etc. The only thing is now, it's too much pastry for me. I usually open them up and just put all the filling on 1/2 and eat it like that. DOS:358 CW:270 SD:1/28/13
