Awful Night - Foamy Vomit ?
jldeville replied to kiwiladydee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I actually did the same thing a few nights ago. They talked about it in my preop class. Basically I was told that it is from eating or drinking a little too fast. -

How Long Until Doing Housework?
jldeville replied to jenneliza's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was told no vacuuming for 6 weeks. That was the only housework restriction. I'm two weeks post op and my mom wouldn't let me do laundry. She was scared of all the bending and the basket being too heavy. -
Starting Regular Diet
jldeville replied to aleyampat's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
60 grams or more. Drinking a protein shake thing in the am helps me. I use the nectar ones. They have 23 grams of protein and mix it with 8 oz skim milk. 32 grams out the way 1st thing in the morning. I'd morning I have. Scrambled egg with a little over a Tablespoon of cheese. Thats 9 more grams. Greek yogurt also has a lot if protein. Deli thin slices turkey by oscar mayer has 9 grams for 6 slices. String cheese has about 6-7 grams. Hope this helps. -
obesityhelp.com You may be able to find what your looking for here. I have found the site helpful. September will be here before you know it. When I started this journey last November it seemed like July would never get here. I had my surgery July 3. I feel good and can't wait to enjoy the ride.

I told my immediate family, friends and coworkers. Everyone has been really supportive. I had my surgery on my birthday which was July 3. I called it a rebirth. My mom and aunt both had RNY 9 years ago. My best friend had it 4 years ago. My father was worried about me doing it but once I told him that I didn't want to get all the health problems that ran on both sides of my family he got on board. He, my sister and my stepmom even came down from LA for the surgery. This is not a quick fix but a lifestyle change. I'm both nervous and excited.

jldeville replied to Monique5005's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
These are all so great. Ive laughed so hard. I will be glad when I can get up without my knees popping. Raid my mom's clothes who RNY 9 years ago this month. Not having people say you have such a pretty face. Dating. Not have people ask you can you eat all that. -
