Comfy clothes Toiletries like tooth brush etc Your own bath soap and shampoo Chap stick A book Contact lens case, saline and or eyeglass case Remember to pack light, you may need the book but likely you will spend your time recovering so not much time or feeling to read. Your experience will be unique for you. Your body, pouch and surgery is your own and won't be identical to anyone else's. Don't forget sunglasses, as weird as that sounds I was most thankful for my sunglasses. Of course I had a 2.5 hour travel time home. Last but not least, don't forget your ID you will need OT to pick up your loretab or whatever pain med they send you home with

Glad your feeling well!! Isn't it exciting to be on this side of the journey? Congrats!

Man I coulda had a bad day, my cna's gave me apple juice every day at the hospital and I drank it like crazy with no problem. . I still think its so weird how each one of our pouches is different and will continue to evolve. I'm going to call mine the special. That way when she gets mad I can put on space balls and watch the part where the alien jumps out of that guys stomach singing hello my baby, hello my darlin. Roflmao
