    I was told only 100% juice diluted either half or 1/3 juice 2/3 water. Even though it's natural it's still sugar and calories.

    We don't have a 7-11 for like 30 minutes around here but I can't wait to try a sugar free Rita's ice! Oh and gold peak makes a good diet sweet tea that doesn't have lemon in it and tastes like sweet tea from when I lived in Georgia!
  6. The guys nailed it. Have faith that if you are doin as instructed with regards to diet and exercise you will lose. The surgery is working. It is hard when it slows down and your expectations don't match up with your current rate. Be positive, have faith, and hang in there! You will be reaching your goal before you know it!

    I agree that you should try to eat slower. Was always told that a meal should take 20-30 mins and no more than 1/4 cup. A good way is to do a crossword, word search, play on your phone, etc in between bites. When you start on more solid foods you will definitely feel full. Hang in there!

    Wow the weight loss is very obvious! You are doing amazing! Glad you are so energetic, give me some of yours - now that I'm back to work, I'm exhausted! Keep up the great work and keep us posted you really are doing well! Isn't it great to put on a piece of clothing that used to be tight and looks great now?!

    So I'm a sushi addict. While I enjoy sashimi, I prefer rolls. Has anyone had experiences with sushi post op? Can you ask to make a roll with no rice? Will they do it? Any suggestions? I miss spicy tuna!

    How did you start cardio? I don't want to start with walking, would rather go hard core but not sure if that's a good idea. Any thoughts? I am 3 weeks out and dr said I can do whatever cardio I am comfortable with.

  19. Ok, so this is waaay off topic so that's why I'm positing it here in the Man Room. I really don't want to ask my facebook friends for this advice... My son is starting his first season of football next week. And while I know enough to be a fan, I just don't know enough to get him started playing. And I really had no luck on google. He is supposed to have offensive holes and defensive gaps memorized. They gave him the sheet. My confusion is what exactly are these for? There was no explanation whatsoever from the coach - just a sheet! it goes like this: Offensive hole numbering: 9 7 5 3 1 0 2 4 6 8 O O O O O O O Gap responsibilities: D 0 C 0 B 0 A 0 A 0 B 0 C 0 D OMG what does this mean???? Thanks in advance!

    lol oops! I did 1/4 cup pureed chili with a baby spoonful of plain greek yogurt (tastes like sour cream but better for ya) and guacamole. it was a little spicy which sucked bc you can't drink for 30 mins but well worth it to have some different flavor! tomorrow is pureed ham and eggs, then some pureed crab cakes yay for real food again! -oh, and I can hear my mom's voice in the back of my head warning me that even licking the spoon leads to unwanted calories and carbs

    First Puree Food Ever!

    mine is slightly different. I found walden farms calorie and sugar free strawberry spread and put a little bit on top...super yum! Fake, No Bake Strawberry vanilla Bean Cheesecake ½ Cup Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt (Cabot is best) ¼ cup Strawberry Greek Yogurt ½ Cup Cottage cheese 3 Tbsp Sugar Free Instant pudding Mix – Cheesecake Flavor ¼ Cup of Milk (give or take as needed) 1-2 Tbsp Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup Optional: 1 package splenda to taste 1-2 scoops vanilla or strawberry Protein powder Put the yogurt and cottage cheese in the blender. You will need to add a little milk to allow the mixture to blend. Add the remaining ingredients and milk as needed, continue to blend until smooth. Refrigerate. It will firm up as it chills. Garnish with Fat Free Cool Whip and fresh strawberry as desired before serving.
