With any pain you should contact your doctor. It could be a multitude of things.

I am sorry for your loss. My shih Tzu woke up one morning in 09 paralyzed on her right side. By the time my mom got her to the vet she could not walk. I was 4 hours away at school and my poor hubby was scared to tell me. Thankfully the shih Tzu rescue that we foster for helped us out and paid for the surgery to get her all fixed up. She had a slipped disk in her neck. We will not have any kids so Molly is our little princess. In my family we always try to get a new animal fairly quickly. The new ones always seem to know how to make us smile. It has always help me get through my grief. Make sure you are drinking plenty of Water and getting your Protein in.

I interviewed two doctors before I decided which doc was the best one for me. I agree with BD. RUN and run fast. -

I would really call your doc tomorrow. Not sure what it is either, but I would be worried if you don't give them a call

Need help getting back on losing

Are you logging your foods? That will help a lot. I started going down the path of eating junk and when I started logging my foods it really opened my eyes. -

Just discovered something with MFP, and thought I would pass it along. I was logging my diner and then my exercise. When I put in my exercise of 45 min of soccer my protein goal jumped by 20grams. I did not know the MFP adjusted for you exercise like that.

I commend you on trying not to step on the scale. I would say I am a controlled scale junkie. During my weight loss time I would step on it everyday, but never let it get to me. I am naturally big boned and an athlete. Muscle weighs more than fat. I am 14 months post op and wear a size 2-6 (depends on the pants) however I weigh 140. I honestly don't look like it in my opinion. I am working towards building muscle right now. I always measure my success by two things. 1. How my clothes fit! Size 2 fits a lot different than a size 22! 2. How much of my feet I can see in the shower when looking straight down. Before surgery my feet had disappeared. I watched them slowly disappear during my years of gaining weight. I knew it was time to act when they were no longer there. Now I can see my ankles when I look down. Good luck!!

I did 9 years ago when I first started thinking about RNY. However 14 months ago when I had surgery my mind was at ease and knew this was the right decision for my life. I had reached my breaking point when I could no longer wash personal areas in the shower. I knew then something must be done. Why do you think you are having doubts?

Well if it makes you feel any better it was 102 today and a humid rain.

Partly It is normal to have regrets at your stage. I cried for several weeks and thought I must have been crazy to do this to myself - all I want is a piece of pizza! If you are still having issues make sure you talk with your doc and let them know what is going on. Where in Texas are you. I am in DFW!

Ask anything you want and we are all here to support you!

When did you feel hungry again?
music1618 replied to PittGuy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
At 14 months post op my hunger pains have changed. I can still go all day without eating because and not even think about it. It is more of an empty feeling in my tummy, but if I want to I can ignore it. If that makes any sense. -
Well I had a good week I think. I was only slightly over on my average calories for the week. My biggest accomplishment is decreasing my carb in take for the week. I was only 177 over on carbs and last week I was 356 over. I was only 4 over on my fat. Finally my protein I was only 7 under my goal getting in 721 grams of protein this week. My percentages this week are 43/33/24 - my goal percentages are 40 carbs/ 35 fat/ 25 protein Tomorrow is the start of soccer season for me so I am adding more protein to my diet and I will be burning a lot of calories! Have a great week everyone
