Sorry to hear about your denial however as DL stated the surgeon's requirements vary & if you keep searching you are bound to find a surgeon to help you in your WLS! Best of luck

Hello everyone! My surgery date is OCTOBER 15th too! Looks like a lot of us are sharing this date

My surgery date is also on October 15th. I am excited & nervous at the same time. Although the nerves get the best of me sometimes I am still very excited to have my date & just a little more than a month I will finally be on the loser's bench! Woohoo to all the October daters!!

Congrats! I know just how great it is to finally get a definite date!

Hello all! I am coming up to my 3rd & final weight loss management class. I am having to have my PCP weigh me after each class & fax it over to my surgeon's office. On my last weight management weigh in I was up 5 lbs from my first weigh in. Now Im afraid that the insurance may deny me for gaining while on the 3 month weight management program. I am dieting like crazy so I can be down some on my final weigh in on August 9th. Do insurance companies get paticular in the weight gain or loss during those 3 months? I'm unfamilair with this. Thank you for your insight!

I can relate I've been on the weight management rollercoaster too. Up & down. I'll get pumped about losing the weight, eating better & exercising but after a month or so I'm back eating what I know I shouldn't. Right now I'm a mandatory 3 month weight management program. I gained 5 pounds from my first to second weight loss program. I am back dieting like crazy so I hopefully can be down in my weight on my final weigh in! I so understand your struggle. Never feel alone!!
