I just bought bag of GENEPRO today as well! It arrived today and I'm currently trying it mixed in a serving of yogurt. It really is the best option I've found, taste wise! But am I the only one who is skeptical? 30g squeezed into a 15g scoop? I've tried researching it and have had no luck in finding a real explanation of how they are able to pull this off. It sounds too good to be true. I worry about relying on this and then finding out that it only has like 5g of Protein. Has anyone had their NUT sign off on this stuff?

So sorry to hear you're feeling bad. It sounds like the beginning of Protein deficiency and dehydration. The protein deficiency can happen fast and is very trying to recover from when you get to the point of not being able to hold anything down. I highly recommend you go to the ER tonight and not wait for an appointment. You definitely need IV fluids. I hope you feel better! Hugs.

Glad to hear you feel better! My pain is still there but way less than it was yesterday, thank goodness!

How are you guys doing with protein? For the life of me, I haven't been able to get in even half of my daily protein goal. I'm not doing too hot with fluids either but my surgeon assured me as long as my urine stays clear, I'm fine. Hope everyone is doing well!

I totally agree, I thought I was the only one feeling this way and it's nice to not be alone. I just took a little dose of my pain meds and it should knock me out soon. Have a good rest!

I had surgery the 8th as well, and am experiencing the exact same thing!It's an awful sharp stabbing pain that feels like it's right under my right breast whenever I take anything more than a shallow breath, or I inhale suddenly. I know it's not gas because my gas pains were gone with in a few days after surgery. This popped up around Sunday. I had my 1 week post op with my surgeon on Monday and mentioned it to him, and he brushed it off, attributing it to the trauma of a major surgery. It has gotten much worse today to the point I woke up sobbing trying to roll over to get out of bed this morning. If it doesn't ease up, I'll probably just go into the ER tomorrow. I've been googling (the worst thing to do when you don't feel well, I know Lol) and I'm afraid it could be pleurisy or something of the like. I hope you feel better and keep me updated if you find out what it could be and I'll do the same!

I'm finally starting to feel like myself again. Still can't sleep normally yet but I'm working my way to my right side, thank goodness! Lol I've been struggling with getting in all my liquid. I'm lucky if I get 40oz in. I just have this constant feeling of being full that I totally didn't expect to be getting from sipping water. Today was supposed to be my first day on full liquids but I have absolutely no desire for it. How are y'all doing with fluids? I slacked on vitamins/pills too but mostly due to the fact the hospital wasn't very clear about when I could start them. I had my 1 week post op today and my surgeon cleared up so much! I've started my 2 kids chewable multivitamins a day, 3 sublingual b12 pills a week, and my chewable calcium citrate daily. I'm only down ten lbs (including whatever I gained from fluids because I didn't care to check when I was released) from day of surgery and I'm kinda bummed about it. All I've had this week is water and crystal light. I know my body is surely in starvation mode but I can't help to compare myself to others from the same date who have lost 20lbs since surgery. I'm hoping everything will kick into gear when protein and liquid goals start being met! Hope everyone is doing awesome!

I had surgery 9/8 and I'm feeling the same way (minus the diarrhea)! I'm still on liquids so I know it's not any food intolerances. Are you on to foods yet? I'm gonna bring it up to my surgeon on Monday and hopefully she'll have some answers or suggestions to make it better. I'll check back with you. Hope you feel better!

Gallbladder surgery is a walk in the park compared to rny. If you got through that, you will definitely be fine with having your gallbladder removed. Good luck and keep us updated!

Hey guys, just checking in. Glad to hear all surgeries went good! I had surgery Monday morning at about 9:30 and discharged at about 5 Tuesday afternoon. Everything went well and I'm happy to be home. This is the HARDEST surgery/pain I've ever been through, so I had a couple moments of regret. But I know it will be worth it when I start to feel better. I'm having the hardest time sleeping. Can't sleep for more than a few hours, but I'm so exhausted. How are y'all doing for sleep? How's y'all's pain? All y'all who had surgery on the 9th, how are y'all? Hope everybody is doing great.

Roller coasters are one of my goals too! Just bought 2015 season passes to use as motivation last week so I HAVE to lose all this weight, wouldn't want to waste my money haha

Monday can't come soon enough! Hopefully I can sleep the rest of the weekend until Monday Lol
