I have the mirena iud. It's messed with my body quite a bit, it took me a good year to fill adjust but I'm 2.5 yrs in and I'm good and I love it. But that first year I debated have it removed!! It caused me to spot so much, which blood is very acidic causing a change in your vagina environment lol which causes an over growth of bad bacteria causing bacterial vaginosis. But once my body adjusted it was fine. Having it put in was a little uncomfortable but most people I know didn't have the issues I has with it.

But I knownits just my consultation but I'm so nervous! Anyone wanna to a run down on all the stuff you have to prior to surgery and how long it took to get scheduled for surgery after you initial consultation ??

Thank you! I have been researching and educating my self for almost a year now. I am so ready! Hand picked my doctor and now I am just playing the waiting game! Oh and btw anyone here from California!?

I also have my initial consultation on the 27th!!! I'm so excited and terrified at the same time. I keep seeing horror stories on the Internet and I'm scared to death of extra skin!
