Stomach Binder After Surgery?
Kerri1503 replied to mizzlaw's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am doing really good. I am able to move around without pain just a little discomfort not really worth whining about. I will probably be going back to work tomorrow or Thursday. No pains meds since the first night home and I took that just in case before bed. I really have no complaints. No problems really. I've been lucky. So you will be hearing something soon right?? -
What They Dont Tell You
Kerri1503 replied to 2fat42long's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ok. I had my surgery on last Wednesday. I woke up in pain but used morphine. Out of the 20grams they had in the pump I only used 4 and that was while sleeping. I took one dose the first night home just in case, but have not use it since. You could say I have a high tolerance for pain, but it wasn't bad at all if you can handle gas pain. Just walk and drink. I also had no complications so I hope you don't either. I've had a C-section also so I knew what kind of pain my stomach would be in, but it was nothing compared to that. I will be returning to work tomorrow or Thursday. Good luck! It will be here before you know it. -

Surgery 10/3 - down 9lbs. Make sure your getting your proteins in it makes a big difference. I'm ready for food already. Doesn't have to be bad food....just food to chew. -
Stomach Binder After Surgery?

The binder is really doc preference. It helps with internal swelling. But the shots afterward are to prevent blood clots. I hope everyone has a speedy recovery! -

Ok I know it's not pleasant to talk about, but I need help. I had surgery on Wednesday and I had my first bm yesterday. It was loose and have had a several since. I'm not feeling bad and having no pain besides tolerable pain when standing up. I'm wondering if this is normal. I am drinking more today and drinking G2 for replacement fluid.

Ok everybody, I used to use My fitness pal app. But it was a hassle to add in everything I consumed. But someone on here said they were using it to keep up with all the essentials. Now you can scan your product and you enter servings. It is so much easier. I think it would be a great way for us to see how each other are getting in our daily requirements, recipes and different products being used. Adding someone as your friend you can choose to share your info. I am Kerri1503! Happy loosing everybody! -
It depends on if you want to take the chance. I know some people that can have both. They are past the healing stages. There is always a chance you won't be able to tolerate those things after the change. That is something you have to decide. Good luck!

Yeah. I think everything has evened out. Maybe going once or twice a day now. I'm doing pretty good all the way around. Feeling great, drove my lil man to school this morning with no problems. Can't wait until I can exercise, but that will be a while I guess. -
