I was actually originally a sleeve patient and before surgery my insurance told me they wouldn't cover the sleeve so my only option was bypass. I was originally upset but now SO THANKFUL I got the bypass. Way better results and I NEED the restriction and dumping to keep me on track. I had heartburn prior to surgery and my surgeon warned that the sleeve may make it worse and if that were the case he'd have to revise me to bypass anyways. So glad I'm an RNY patient now - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

Pre op 276 7.5 months post op hovering around 160 OH! And in the last picture I'm at the county fair - the SAME county fair who kicked me off a ride for being too big. Needless to say this experience was WONDERFUL and zero pain was involved with me being pinched in seats. I could hoist myself up with such ease and I fit in everything. It was amazing. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012 -

I have an issue with chocolate - luckily dark chocolate - but chocolate nonetheless. I have a hard time not grabbing a few java chips or chocolate chips off our Cookies at work. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

Not with my butt so much as with my hips. I can be laying on a soft bed and if I turn my body a certain way my hip bones dig in and agh it hurts. I keep hurting my hip bones one way or another. Though now that I think about it I think I have experienced occasional tailbone pain too - the part where my legs meet my butt on the bottom - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

Was it never loose or was and then shrunk back? Because I want to be 135-145 and it's already loose but I'm 21 so I hope it bounces back but :| I started at 276 - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012 -

You look stunning. Is that post op pic at 145 or 155? Just curious because I'm 5'8" and 162lbs - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012 -
I've been reading about everyone having hormonal issues like anger and what have you due to the hormones being released from fat cells and I haven't had anything like that until now at 7 months post op. I'm always pissy and freak out on everyone and can't believe how mad i always am. I'm so on edge. I don't know why this is happening now when I only have another 20lbs or so to lose. When did this all happen for you guys? - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

So Starbucks came out with a new oatmeal along with a new topping... and I think the topping is a great little snack if you're starving and need something so you don't drop dead. Best part is I'm pretty sure if you just asked for the little topping bag that they won't charge you for it, and if they did it would be 50cents at MOST. By no means a meal, being only .56 oz, but great while in a pinch. Thought I'd share. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

As long as you substitute nonfat milk and skinny mocha, yes. The orange mango and strawberry are very high in sugar. I also only use 3/4 of a banana to get rid of unneeded calories - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

Yeah I'm allotted 6g per serving so that's not an option for me - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

I'm going to be honest... Caramel macchiatos aren't really an option anymore unless you're going to be really bad because you can't replace the caramel sauce with anything sugar free and it's super bad for yo and there's so much milk which is a lot of carbs and sugar. Honestly it's not a good option anymore. Anyways all you need to know is we have sugar free vanilla, mocha, hazelnut, caramel and cinnamon dolce. If you're one of the people who can stomach milk post op (I'm not) then you could get whatever you want with those like a latte or what have you. I drink a lot of their hot teas and inches teas and if you're willing to have the extra calories any of the iced teas with lemonade is delicious. The refreshers aren't that horrible for you.. The key is to make sure what you're getting is sugar free which a barista will help you with. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

A year. Protein Bars have so many carbs and sugar that the protein value is hardly worth it. Emergency option only - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

There is nothing nutritionally valuable in rice. Just carbs and fat. You really shouldn't be eating rice period. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012

Uh I'd get a pregnancy test my dear. If you had PCOS that could explain it, I went 10 months without a period. But seriously go check, you can get a pregnancy test for 1 dollar at the dollartree - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgerversary 6/11/2012
