Good news! I guess we can have the lemonade at Starbucks. I always assumed it was synonymous with like minutemaid (aka 50% sugar) so I've avoided it since surgery because I couldn't get concrete nutrition facts - but after trying a sip I realized it's basically straight lemon juice, so i've been sipping on an arnold palmer (black tea & lemonade) all day and I'm in heaven. Passion tea & lemonade was my favorite pre surgery and I'm so excited - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

Well yeah, milk has sugar. You can't avoid that. You will never get a sugar free drink if it has milk- physically impossible. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

can we all agree that I'm right now?

Could you clarify this because I have the Starbucks app and all the app does is allow you to use your Starbucks card barcode, show locations and play with your acount. No where on there does it explain what the drinks are. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

Whoa where did you find calcium citrate gummies? I had a hell of a time just finding pills that weren't calcium carbonate - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

It absolutely does not. Skinny means sugar free and fat free milk without whip. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

My advice is to go out and buy tasty gummy Vitamins like I did, vitafusion is a good brand. What I do is take all vitamins in the morning (except for the other 1/2 of Calcium I take at night) and how I get through it every morning is I chew up my first gummy, then pop 1/2 the pills in there before I swallow so it's easier to get them down and then repeat the process. So I get all my pills down in like 30 seconds because they're mixed in with the tasty gummy. What I take: - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

I know many of you have experienced a plateau in your weight loss and know how miserable it feels and how terrifying it can get thinking you're doing things wrong and you'll stop losing weight... My question is when did you guys start experiencing your plateau and how long did it last? What weight and how many pounds down? My scale won't budge from 212.8 and I my surgery weight was 263... so after 50 lbs I'm stuck. It was stuck at 220 then I miraculously lost the 7 lbs and now it won't budge again. It's miserable. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

The hot passion tea does not taste like the iced, different tea leaves. Look for a small blue box which has the iced passion tea bags - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12

I know this is going to sound petty but I needed to share with someone. I just went to a meeting at work where we were given promotional t-shirts for a new product. The shirts all had sticky notes with names, and when my boss handed me mine it was at the very bottom and I saw that is was a 2x. Prior to surgery I wore a 2x so this wouldn't have normally bothered me except that I realized she had given another woman at my job (who I feel is notably larger than me and even was prior to surgery and 20lbs ago) a 1x. I've been a lot more confident about my body since after the surgery and that just kind of felt like a slap in the face of what I didn't want to feel anymore. We ended up trading shirts (I used my surgery as an excuse) and the 1x fit... somehow making me feel even crummier that I was presumed to need the biggest shirt they could provide. Idk my feelings just got hurt and I realize that I'm nowhere near out of the realm of being fat even though I've felt like I was farther than I really am. Just sad.

Honestly I have a small piece of dark.chocolate (lindt is my favorite, you can buy it at the drug store) and I'm totally fine. Dark chocolate is good for you like red wine is - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12
