Presurgery day 323 Surgery day. (7/11/12) 313 3 weeks since surgery. (8/3/12). 285 Total so far : 37 lbs. !!! And I am slowly feeling human again !! And I got two compliments at the grocery store!!!

Absolutely, obnoxiously stinky!!! And I have learned that since surgery I cannot gamble with a fart...., Today I sharted, now I know that is TMI but I just wanna let you know not to take that gamble ! ; )

I smoked right up until the day before surgery, luckily my doctor didn't test for it. I gotta tell you though, I ended up being readmitted to the hospital the day after I got home because of pneumonia and I just gotta wonder how much of that could have been caused by my smoking. I have not started again and do not intend to, it's been 22 days and although I sometimes crave one, I believe it would make me sicker than a dog! I am done with it forever !! Good luck to anyone trying to quit - stay strong!

I wanna tell you it will get better soon but I am too busy burping and feeling nauseous to tell you that !! ; ). I am 3 weeks out today and today was my queasiest day so far !! I am looking forward to a life thin with less gas and being able to eat !! One day, we will get there !!! Stay strong my friend and feel free to whine as much as you want!! Sometimes it actually helps !!!

Am soooooo trying not to whine but at 3 weeks out I am still bordering miserable. With reference to feeling normal at all. I did have a setback of pneumonia and was re hospitalized and also had some small and a huge hernia repaired (30 staples worth) but I just wanna feel better and wanna feel good about eating again. Thank you for letting me try not to whine .. ; ). Any insights on when I will feel human again ?

How many fat grams are we allowed to have per meal. How about sugar ?

Nope no sugar at all !! I disintegrate think I drink it too fast. I can only do a couple sips at a time.
