  1. Has anyone gained their weight back after surgery? I was 294 and went down to 180. I am now back up to 196...but is this normal? I'm 18 months post surgery.
  2. I had my surgery almost 3 years ago (January 20, 2011). I had to sign a paper saying I wouldn't get pregnant for 2 year, and I suppose it was close enough? Lol. But I have a few concerns, this is my first baby and I really have no idea how my body will react? Is there any advice you can give me on what to expect? I know I'll be gaining weight..and I'm okay with it because I refuse to gain just because I'm pregnant.
  3. I am going to hit my two year mark in January and I am considering doing a tummy tuck. I carried my weight all over but definitely in the stomach. It's not bad, but I am still in an L-XL top because of it. I can fit into a Medimum but it doesn't look good lol. Has anyone regretted doing one?

    Well, my plans have changed. I had a doctor lined up in June, but lost insurance shortly after that so I decided to wait until I got it again, but in the mean time my fiancé and I have been surprised with a little surprise due the end of June! So for now the tummy tuck is on hold. But I WISH all of you ladies luck!!! I know it's a tough surgery, but I believe it is so worth it!
  6. My main downfall has been the snacking. It's not always unhealthy, most times it's fruits and cheese but just grazing all day has added up the pounds. I've been watching it more recently, and when I get that urge I get a bottle of water but I'm not sure it's helping. I still feel the need to put something in my mouth.

    I remember my doctor saying "If it doesn't grow on trees, you can't eat it everyday." But every once in awhile should totally be okay!

    I'm not worried about when I have kids. I go to the gym and I eat right, I just can't get rid of my stomach from my surgery. I'm 18, kids are no where in sight in my future. I'm tired of not being totally confident because of my stomach.

  16. These past few months I’ve been trying to get motivated to start working out again, yet I’ve been putting it off. Well tonight I’ve decided that I want to lose 80 pounds which will bring me to about 110. My goal weight has been 160, but that’s just not enough anymore. So it’s time for me to get a routine down and get my crap together. And no, this is not a New Years resolution, though it might help lol. So I'm in need of workouts, routines that have worked for you guys and lots of inspirational stories! I'm almost two years out, and I'm ready to get to get where I want to be. I never had a set goal weight until tonight!!

    Thanks everyone! I talked to my doctor and she wants me to really think about it and then talk to her again in October at my next appointment. My tummy is the biggest part I want to work on.

    Ideas...help!

    I'm running out of ideas for lunch... For breakfast I've been doing shakes w/fruit. Snacks like, String cheese w/fruit, Celery & peanut butter, Cottage cheese w/fruit, Almonds, Hard Boiled egg w/fruit.. And shakes for dinner but I don't really eat lunch and I know I need to... idk what to do for it though..
