Yeah I had to finance a lot of it. The lower body lift was pretty painful, but my tummy tuck looks amazing. And yeah I had a trainer that helped me a lot, but I ended up gaining a lot of muscle which put t weight loss on hold, so now I'm pretty focused on cardio and triathlon training. And yeah have ur hubby put u to work! I had an ex who's a professional body builder, worked out well as we would hit the gym together and he would also be the food police.

3 Weeks Before The Surgery...
blueyes4648 replied to carms's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I dumped my boyfriend of five years after surgery as he had serious issues with other guys hitting on me. Forget that guy, he's not worth it. -
I'm five years out from bypass and will have my last plastic surgery this fall. Thighplasty and a hip staple. I have virtually no scars after having five previous surgeries, I'm the queen of Maderma and cocoa butter. My brachioplasty and breast aug was last July and my arm scars are pretty well faded, my breast scars are underneath and notable faded into white already. My skin is young though, I'm 27, and lost 160 pounds. It's totally worth it.

What If This Was All For Nothing?!

I would make sure to space out food and water, I tried to have zero liquid at my first meals. My first month consisted of scrambled eggs, Refried beans, and mashed potatoes w protein powder. Protein will sit in your pouch longer, so I tred to play that card and I quit eating as soon as I was satisfied, not full/near vomiting. Good luck! I'm sure your pouch is fine! -

My FB is under Shannon Tokarz, I deleted out my pre op photos years ago though. I kind of get a little scared looking at them. -
Aww congrats! I remember for my older sisters wedding having to get a size 26 and for my other sister two years later I fit into a 12 and still had to take it in. It's a wonderful feeling!

I waited til 6 months post op to try alcohol, and it hit me way faster. Now I drink socially but the sugar calories and hangovers aren't worth it to me anymore. And I definitely did see a transference in shopping as well, all Of a sudden I went from one or two stores I could shop at to basically all of them. It was a good feelin though.
