Hi Larry welcome to the group glad you finally said hi to us ..Not sure if the would cancel or not where i went i don't think they would as far as being scared everyone is i think it is normal i am 2.5 months out and only got sick twice with something that didn't agree with my pouch. Try doing some protein shakes now as meal replacements maybe that will help lose some of the weight they want you to..my name is Don feel free to add me if you would like

Shrinking Don replied to chilet071's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
i also went to the free seminar with my mind pretty set on the lapband but i gotta tell you when i walked out of there it had totally changed my mind and glad it did i was 301 in january of this year my rny was on 8/22 and i am 93 lbs down since Jan 62 since 8/22 i have been huge for many years and all the complications i was having i am no longer on 3 meds for diabetes and no longer on high blood pressure meds or even the meds for my legs. So with that im glad you listened to your primary doc and going with the RNY instead..Get ready for the new you i still think it is funny when i havent seen someone in a few months and happen to run into them they walk by because they didn't realize it was me till i say hi so much fun...congrats on your decision to move onto the loosing side itss great to be associated with a bunch of loosers lol -

not much protein shake in the morning then a reduced fat cheese stick for a snack sometimes a 1/2 cup of chili for lunch (my fav) for dinner i put 4oz of food on my plate usually a little meat but never finish it i eat hard boiled eggs also sometimes for breakfast im not hungry so eating is hard for me only getting probably 300-400 calories a day normally im so afraid of stretching my pouch and can not do pork or tortilla pita pockets i tried that with some sandwich meat didn't work.. I was told the first year not to worry about calorie intake so im not i take my vitamins daily i will say i look at labels all the time and make sure what i eat is low in fat and has protein in it ..
-
Yes it is wonderful you all work so hard at this its great when we try something on and it fits even though we didn't think it would

If he only has a GED that is fine he can still find a decent job i don't even have a ged i am a 10th grade drop out why because i had a single mom who was struggling hard with the loss of my grandmother and life in general she needed help so i quit school and went to work full time. If he puts his mind to it he can get a decent job i have done everything from pizza delivery and worked my way up to management now i drive truck for a living locally and make about $18 hr plus ot after 40 it can be done i have never been one to live off someone else and always paid my way from a young age not knocking anyone just saying it can be done without a GED even if the person has the motivation i may not be making $100,00 a yr but i bet if he could go out and make 45,000 a yr that would help a lot it can be done

ok a guys view i personally could not let any woman support me i don't mind if she makes more money then i do but i would have to work and put my share in. As far as him driving your car with no license it is putting you in jeapordy of ruining your insurance you better tell them he stole it if he gets caught.
