Going good I'm just over 3 weeks out down 33lbs and going back to work on Monday where you from I'm in new bedford

Some doctors will not perform surgery until u loose what they want it shrinks the liver

I had gained 21 lbs after my first visit i was told that was very bad and may get denied so i worked extremely hard to take that plus another 13lbs off i peaked at 301 surgery date was 269 you can do this

I am 3 weeks out today i'm getting better with fluids eating a little bit but food does not interest me at all i have lost 33lbs in 3 weeks and stopped loosing so i know i need to increase protein and food intake im sure my body is in starvation mode..Might go to support group tonight we have several a month here in southeastern mass -
anyone try the sugar free slurpee from 7-eleven I read they have carbonation which will dissapiont me if it's true

So the last couple days i feel kinda weak and blah not eating much food smell makes me sick and not drinking enough water think i might be getting dehyrated think i will call doctor tomorrow on the bright side i am down to 236 from 269 morning of surgery 8/22

Stepped on scale today was shocked i am 2 weeks post op tomorrow morning of surgery i was 269.5 left hospital at 282 and this morning 244 whoohoo well on my way

Hooked up my camper and drove to campground 1 wk after surgery setup camp then went to my 1 wk post op appt and asked if it was ok to drive lol he said yes as long as I was not taking pain meds any longer camp is only 16 miles from home it I felt fine doing so ginna return to work in 2 weekS where I drive a big rig -

Anyone go swimming 10 days post-op in a pool was it ok went for my 1 week checkup today and forgot to ask. They said I was doing good down 10lbs officially today and the wounds look good 10 days will be Friday and will be camping for the weekend
