My First Time Dumping Today :/
PaulB replied to preshiz pink's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tuesday I tried a small bit of pork chewed really well it went down hard sat heavy the pain was unbelievable. Walking did not help sat in pain for like a hour and a half. The next day I felt like crap my pouch hurt I was tired wore out no energy and no poop in 3 days. I was happy today I felt better I pooped . So from now on I do what the doctor says and not cheat. 2 more weeks of purée and then soft food. Think I will take my time and do it right. Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12 -

No I did not use insulin befor surgery. The doctor wanted me on insulin but my job as a truck driver say no. I should say that I'm on no diabetic Med's right now and my sugars run from 120 - 180 depending on what I eat. Befor it was 230-300 with Med's. Just wanted them to be lower and the doctors don't seem to be worried right now so maybe I shouldn't. I use to take 14 Med's a day now I'm down to 2 a Vitamin and a acid reducer. So I should be happy Right Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

Applebee's will let you order a smaller portion from their menu at a reduced price. Or at least the one near me does. Haven't been out to eat but 1 time. Not a lot I can eat yet only being 4 weeks post- op. just figured if we went out order regular menu and take home what's left for Breakfast, lunch & dinner the next day Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

In my Reserch I found that Sleeving was done on extremely over weight people and people that had less then 100 lb to lose. My doctor wanted me to go with the sleeve but changed his mind after the Endocopy was done and I needed to have the RNY done. Still don't understand why but I trusted my doctor and went with what he wanted . Sorry you will be leaving. Just remember we will always be here if you need us Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12
