Why to go tank keep it up Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

When you see your doctor ask him what you should do. He should be able to answer that question. May be a nutritionist can help. Congrats on the 96 lbs way to go don't give up. Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

Please don't give up you have a bad support system so go find one that will support you. Call your doctor and ask if there is a support group around you. To hell with people that can't support you and are out for what makes them feel good. What about your needs. Would it kill them to support you and understand what you are going though. Sorry I know they love you but that makes me mad that some people say they love you but don't support you. My wife is so supportive and goes out of her way to help me she even goes to support meetings with me. Hope you get some help good luck don't give up Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

My nutritionist wants me to forget about calorie count right now and focus on Protein protein protein. She says to stay away from yogurt it may taste good but pass though your pouch so fast that you do not get enough from it.and the calories don't count she suggested puting in some fat to help out. Ok I have never been told this befor and find it hard to Belive. But she used to be 387 lbs and now she is 138. So who do you Belive your self and all the things you have read or someone that's done this Journy ??? Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12 -
I'm 6 weeks and a few days post op and my pouch is just starting to tell me when I'm full. We went to support group last night and the nutritionist told me to stop counting calories for the time being I should focus on Proteins try to keep my carb count to around 60-100. I need to get my body out of starvation mode. Ez for her to say when you just don't feel hungry. Or food makes you sick just looking at it even 6 weeks out Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

Can't wait to get back into the gym. Doctor just let me start weight training this week. I want my body back I had 7 years ago befor the accident rueind my leg and I sat around and got fat. The gym keep it off. That's no excuse I could have gotten back into the gym 5 years ago and used my right leg as a excuse not any more. Now if we could just gat a Planet fitness or a golds gym in my town. So the YMCA will have to do they just renovated their gym so will have to check it out Friday Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12 -

When I got home from the hospital I watch the food Chanel man v food all the cooking shows. My wife ask why I would do that to my self. Becuse I know I'm addicted to food and like to eat what I cook. But going to a support group showed me how to get by with eating a little and not being a pig. Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12 -

It all comes down to you really find out who your friends. Friends should like you for who you are not what you look like. Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12 -
Did the decaf coffee thing this morning only with real French vanilla creamer wasn't bad I could do decaf that way. We have a friend in Maine that sends us New England brand coffee extra bold extra dark so far that's the only place we can find it and they have it in hole bean or they grind it for you 14.95 a pound we only use it every now and then. Don't know where they get it they won't say. (some stores around us carrie the brand but not the extra bold extra dark) My wife loves the republic of teas we have dozens in the back room . I like the the three gardens Breakfast black Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

Just starting to explorer decaf will take your advise and try some of the dark brews in deca. My wife loves green mountain morning blend I like the dark magic. But I think my problem is not the coffee but the sugar free creamer that changes the taste. Will have to try with regular creamer. We save money now that we have the Keurig we don't throw away coffee any more and if you buy in bulk it's cheaper. If you like ice tea there are some really good one for the Keurig to Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

I miss my coffee and when I go back to work I don't know what will help the long miles go by. I have done everything the doctors have told me to do. I may have to go cheat on this one myself. And I can't stand decaf. To top it off we just spent 300 on one of the Keurig k cup coffee makers you know one cup at a time in under one min that thing is the bomb we love it. Besides If DL says its ok that works for me just kidding DL . Nobody said we have to give up living to lose weight Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12
