  4. To day has to be the best day I have had since my surgery. I went to my Endocrinologist to day my A1C was 7.1 down from 9.8 just 3 months ago and with no Med's at all. The best part is they are going to let me go 6 months before my next appointment WITH no Med's. My A1C hasn't been that low in 20 years . Blood pressure was 114/54 with no Med's Cholesterol was 145 . So weight lose surgery does work Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

    Worried

There are other ways of getting your protein. It's helps to drink it but you can get it though meat fish fruits. Have you tryied Quest bars 20 + g protein no sugars low in carbs is another way you can get protein . Talk to your nutritionist they should be able to help you

    Calories

I was just told not to worry about calories so much and worry about getting my Protein in. Don't go nuts I run around 550-800 cals a day. Every meal should have 2 oz of protein and 1 oz ov veggies ( that's what my nutironist says) check with your doctor Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12

My doctor says 60-100 g Protein a day RIGHT in the perfect world yes in my world 60g is pushing it. As far as exercise I was not allowed to do any ab work outs till I hit the 6 week mark and no heavy weight lifting. Your doctor knows what's best for you ask him/her. Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12
