Unflavored Protein Powder
kiwiladydee replied to worm2872's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
You have to cook the food first for instance, I put it in mashed potatoes or mix with baked potato after I cook/ warm it up. Remember it can not be hot or it will change texture. It goes great in cottage cheese - try this recipe! 1/4 low fat brookstone cottage cheese 1 teaspoon sugar free tarni Carmel syrup Chopped apple Cran raisins Mixes 1/2 scoop unflavored powder into cottage cheese add apple and cran raisin and pour syrup on top. Does Anyone Else Feel Like They'll Never Be "skinny"?
kiwiladydee replied to Lebim's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes, like turtlenecks - they look different depending on you neck, torso etc... I understand. I could squeeze all my weight into my jeans at size 20, but any dresses above the knees showing my thighs was a nightmare. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk -
pizza was my favorite food. To get over the hump you can slice tomato thin, put a little pizza sauce ontop, add low fat mozzarella cheese with pizza seasoning. Put it in the stove - broil until cheese turn golden brown. It is sooo yummy and easy on pouch. I have picture on old post somewhere - u can search pizza. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Hi I Want To Do A Thread
kiwiladydee replied to prettylicious8's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
It depends I what month / how far out are you talking about. During my first month Soup, crushed ice, sugar free apple sauce, cottage cheese helped the most. Once I could eat soft foods - crab legs and scallops. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk -
Hello. Well first you have step back and take a moment. . Everyone body's is not the same and the weightloss isn't the same. We all gain weight from the surgery, iv's etc... You will start to see major result usually 1st month and 3rd month. Most people have stalls during a time period after 6 weeks. It's not a miracle cure and you have to do your part with drinking tons of Water and eating lots of Protein. Can't wait to see your results! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Drinking While Eating
kiwiladydee replied to Nycole's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was told it also flushes food out. I followed that rule up until about 4 months. Now I take an occasional sip when I eat, but I'm going to try to stop. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk -
Foods I Need To Know About
kiwiladydee replied to shakinginmyboots's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey! You have a lot of good questions, but I would worn you no one has the same effects from the surgery. Some people can't tolerate milk, eggs, sugar, bread, or candy etc.. Others do not get sick at all. Why would you want to go back to drinking sodas if they are unhealthy? After surgery, your thinking changes and you have to focus on eating Protein around the clock. Irritated When Other People Eat
kiwiladydee replied to kimmyk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is a very super normal reaction! It's going to be that way a little while and then you will realize you can't even tolerate or want to eat that stuff. So the anger will go away. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
