Is the savage run the one at stone mountain? My husband signed up for that one. The YMCA was going to charge me 45 dollars which was too much for me. Maybe we can meet at a park? Or do a class together? Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

    Long time lurker

I can completely understand how you feel. Everyone family and friends are so different. I decided to take the approach of education since my decision was helped by other who also went through the process. It is important to tell all the food and the bad that comes from it. Right now, im dealing with deflating boobs that can only be fixed by surgery. There is so much more I the surgery then just loosing weight. It's almost like a rehab, with a life long membership. 3 post-op questions

Hey throwing up several times a day is not normal or good. Your doctor should be able to give you something to help coat your esophagus as well as medicine for nausea. The hospital usually will not let you leave until u can hold down liquids. It's normal to feel super queasy.. For a while. But the main goal is to hold in liquids - Water and start getting in that protein! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

    I can't do this!

It really does sound normal!! It hard to believe, I know. When you drink and and vomit, that's when u should worry. Do everything you can to avoid becoming dehydrated. I literally ate ice for weeks. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

    Sorry im MIA

Yeah, I don't get on here as much because of Facebook. I'm 187 - 8 months - start weight 280. This month has been mentally the hardest one. I can feel some of the tightness of my stomach going away. I still can get sick and dump but it is always next day instead of instantly. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

    Need some advice!

Hi Heather, I think everyone has to decide for themselves when it's time to make a change to a healthier lifestyles. There is a high rate of marriages and relationships ending after weight loss surgery because of these types of issues. Just because we decided to make this change doesn't mean everyone else will immediate jump on board. I think just cooking healthy meals and making better choices when going out is a great start. Videoscopic Institute of Atlanta

You may find some people on obesity help. Org and/ or Facebook. I was going to use him a while back when I initially decided to do surgery. Ten years later, I went with Dr Johnson, Atlanta Bariatrics. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
