Hey all, I am 4 days post op and can barely move at all. Severe pain in my left side of my tummy where my drain is, but it's not infected. I am passing gas ect, but cannot get the ripping my skin off feeling to pass when I stand or get close,to standing. Any remedies or when does this pass. Pain meds make me drowsy but don't touch the tummy pain. Also on Clear liquids, I start full liquids tomorrow, what are some good ideas for full liquids to start off with. I started last Wednesday on my prop liquid diet at386 and today I am at 364!!!

I all, I am day 2 of my liquid diet, I have surgery Tuesday. I was wondering what I should have in the house after surgery, and in a typical day what do you eat. Looking for suggestions on the few weeks following surgery until I get used to it

Thank you for the response.i will tell. Y mom there is hope after all she may get approved. I do not think it is her insurance wanting to not to do,I believe it is her surgeon not wanting the liability, does your friend have any helpful tips. I guess you just do not see people with Chrons having this surgery very often
-
Has anyone been diagnosed with Chrons disease and been approved for surgery.?
-
Which surgery, and do you know if her Chrons is active or not at this time. Also, where is she doing this.
-
Well at 400 lb and 47 year old she is wanting to take what's she can get and hopefully if she only gets the sleeve, it may jump start her weight loss Alzheimer's able to lose weight and motivated at the same time.
-
Yes it does make sense, but she is nervous because she is wanting to lose 200 pounds, and the outcomes with the sleeve are much less the surgeon estimates her losing 60 lbs. she is wanting to malabsobtive as well as restrictive
-
Yes, it is my mother who has Chrons, I do not and am having surgery on the 24 of July. But was wondering for my mother of other outcomes of Chrons. It appears to be quite rare that crowns is fully absorptive in the intestines, but hers is as she weighs close to 400. They are leaning toward the sleeve due to not wanting to mess with rerouting, but she is nervous she will not lose the weight if it is just restrictive. She is wanting the rny though. She has done her psych veal and just waiting for the date to be scheduled. She is dr rossi out of Peoria Illinois.
