So its been a few weeks iv lost 60 lbs so far. Im doing good with my eating im back at work i even joined a gym weight loss has slowed down but hope to pick up when i start goin to the gym.

yeah dont worry bout being hungry after you wake up you wont even be thinkin bout food youll be thinkin pain meds lol but its been two weeks since my surg. and I am fealing great lost 30 lbs in two weeks my taste buds are starting to come back but still cant eat much and excited so we all will pray for you and think bout you and good luck youll be fine.

The main thing is drink water and try to pass gas and burp cause they fill you with air to expand your stomach. Then walk walk walk cause it loosens the soreness in your abs cause they cut through them. You dont wanna dring to much in one gulp cause youll get airlocked and it hurts. Practice drinkin with out swallowing air. About half a medicine cap at a time. Try not to hicup it sux. I walked over a mile today and its the day after my surgery like when u start drinkin water when you wake up? Start like rolling around so the air rises. Most the pain is from the stuck air. Just gettin in my hospital bed for the last night stay. Cathoder is out thank god. Im feeling good not alot of pain so i am pleased how things went cant wait to get home and start loosing weight

Didnt sleep that well but im still in a possative mood im getting stronger..ya cant keep this farm kid down.

It took bout 2hours in ip. Them two hours in post op. My pain has gone down most of the pain was from the air the filled me with for leak tests been burpin all day but pain went down alot. I am on oxygen. And when ever i doze off it beeps at me to breath. So sleep bout 15 min on the hour sittin wachin movies on my lappy on itunes.walked this evening. And sat in a chair. They have those blood clot shin sleeves that squees my leggs

Im out of op. Been out for about 9 hours just took a walk sitting in a chair now. Every thing is doing good drinkin beef broth n eatin Popsicles i am fealling pretty good right now

Nice I cant wait till i get home. There saying 3 days stay in the hospital so i brought my laptop n my itunes are all loaded up on it and movies so my mind is busy. I hope this three day hunger goes away. Im sure it will tomorrow lol thanks everyone

Day two of the pre op. Liquid diet. Getting hard to be around food just thinking one more day and I have it made. I think after my op. I wont feel as hungry lost almost 10 lbs this last week just eating the pre op. Recommended foods been off of caffeine for 4 weeks now no soda either goin good just one more day.

I start my three day clear fluids diet to day. Surgery is in 3days im excited

It was nasty. Any one know of some good protein?

I put that unjury in skim milk the intire packet which is one scoop its powder. And each pack is 20g of protein so i mixed it with 8oz of milk and it made it to thick im gonna try some flavored packs next time. And im thinkin bout just using half a pack

My surgery date is june 26. Im pretty excited I go in tomorrow and get blood drawn for a blood work. The 3day liquid diet before the surgery is gonna b tough but after the operation it will be worth it to know im gonna loose alot of weight. Good luck in your new beginnings!!!

I am at 432 lbs. I have been overweight most my life and though i was just fine. Until I went into the docs office to get a physical. And he said i had high blood pressure. I ignored it. Went in for a fallow up and it was worse so thats when I decided time to take action. I have many morbid diseases on both sides of the family so i chose the gastric bypass. I go in june 26th.
