I was wondering how long the surgery takes. And what you need to do before hand. Cause it's been over 3 yrs since my dr and I talked about it. Cause my sister passed away I gained more weight but my weight is lower than when I saw him 3 yrs ago. I go June 5 for my apt. Praying it's a go. See with me I have been over weight my whole life. The past 8 yrs I have been trying to loose. And wasn't eating and still gaining. My sister passed away Oct. 4 2007 from PAH after she passed I started eating.MAD EATTING even when wasn't hungry. That's how my weight got maxed at 452. I believe if an when the dr says its a go not EATTING for me will not be a problem. My pcp didn't understand why I was gaining when I wasn't eating.so he put me on supplements ect. Thyroid was perfect didn't understand it nor do I.but the 100 I gained after my sis. Death I know how that got on me. I am praying so hard that the dr will do this now that I'm almost350 I'm excited but scared he still won't do it cause of the PAH. I feel blessed to have found this site with such great people who are here to help with support and I will do my best to support others as well. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk

I need to keep up the motivation. everyone around me is all active and does anything they like. and i feel so restricted.I saw tis one post on here from a lady who commented on the handicap stall considered the big girl room. I feel that way as well. my usband and I cant do things he wants to do cause either my weight is the problem( with me not him he loves me reguardless ) or my sickness. my goal weight is 150 im 5'9 8-2011 my weight was 452 and my last weight as of may 2012 372 on my own. i got to the dr June 5th so hopefully we can get the process started they told me back in 2007 before my sister passed i had to be at least 350 for them to consider the bypass. because I have a terminal illness pulmonary arteral hyperstion. for which there is no cure except the GOOD LORD. so hopeful and praying that with me weighing less then i did when we first dicusssed this they will do this. cause i want to RUN JUMP DO CART WHEELS things people take for granted. sry guys for venting. keep me up to date with your progress and congrates thus far. much love God Bless

This is me at 372. I really just been eating a lot of salads and trying to be more active. I need to have a total knee replacement as well. But I can feel a lot of difference in my knee since I have lost weight. It's hard being as active as I WANT to be. Because of the PAH but I give it all I have. Now that I've found this I have support from those who UNDERSTAND! Weight problems. TY all for being here for me and being with me at the beginning pre. surgery. Ty a lot .

My name is Angel. I want to have the Rny done. There are a lot of complications for me to have it done. I have primary pulmonary arterial hyperestion for which there is no cure. The pic I put up is me weighing in at my most 452 I'm down to 372 on my own I have to be @ 350 before they would discuss it any further. ALMOST THERE thank the Good Lord.
