Sorry I weighed in yesterday just didn't get on here...so here it is Last week 227 This week 223 At this time of the month...I will take it
  4. In my heaviest time (well even now) when I go somewhere I always look to see if I am the heaviest person there. I have surgery 4/20/12 and I am down 88 pounds. I am still doing it. I think its because the numbers I see on the scale. I am still 223 as of this morning. I think I will feel better when I am under 200. Its amazing what this surgery can do in such a short time. I am one that didn't want to go in public or family outings because I was embarrassed about my weight. I hope that changes with the new changes to my body. Good luck in your journey, and Congrats
  5. Ok, I have been checking out gym memberships and I am not sure that is going to be in my budget. I am actually looking at getting a couple pieces of equipment to have here at home. I have a treadmill and ab lounger. I was looking at getting a bowflex and a recumbent bike. What kinds of machines do you workout on when you go to the gym or what kind of equipment do you have at home? I am needing help in my core area, bust, arms and legs (haha pretty much everywhere!!) Please let me know what you do. I have been finding this stuff next to nothing on craigslist. So much cheaper than a gym membership. Thanks so much!!

    Not Losing Weight

You might be starting a stall...the things you want to make sure you are doing is getting your liquids in, making sure your protein and vitamins are getting in, and if you are doing all of that, make sure you are walking. If you are doing all these things then your body is just trying to adjust and its called a stall. Sometimes your body is going through starvation mode and will hold all weight because it thinks you are trying to starve yourself. Get your food, protein and liquids in and all this should stop.

    Binging

I have the same problems. My best advice for you is to portion control. Measure out your food. When your plate is empty then you are done. That is what I am doing and it is working. I'm also working on not snacking. Its really hard, but I'm really not hungry when I am snacking...I'm just doing it for something to do I guess. I hope this helps. Oh btw, I don't take 30 mins anymore either. I eat til my food is gone and then I am done.

    This It I Am Dumping!

    1 Month Post Op Pic

You look good!! Keep up the good work!
  20. I'm sorry no I haven't switched doctors, but have you called the Dr. That is closest to you to see if they would even take you right now? They may want you to go to your first follow up appt. and then switch over, but bottom line is of you are not happy with your doctor you should switch. You pay too much money for this surgery to not be happy.

I love that you work at Starbucks. My favorite drink was white Choc mocha, non fat/no whip. Looking for a new drink. I would like to stay caffeine free and sugar free...what can I get from there....if you don't mind me asking. I miss my Starbucks so bad!!

Day 3 Of The New Me

You just had surgery 3 days ago, this is normal. You will be for the fist 1-2 weeks depending how long it takes your body to get the anesthesia out of your system. Rest while you can now in between your walking. It will go away. Congrats btw!!
  24. Congrats! You look amazing. Keep up the good work
