I had my surgery 8/24/2010, gastric bypass, I went from 404 to 177 in 9mo. I havent gained or lost a pound since April 2011!!! )

My doctor says it seems like men loose more, or faster only due to them being taller, biggest tip us to stay away from sugar drinks , and you would be suprised how many calories are in mixed alchol drinks. If you have any questions just ask

Lol i woke from surgery with a gout flare-up on my knee, never had gout b4, they took 1450cc of yellow fluid from my knee!!! I hadnt walked for 3days! God bless man, keep up the good work!

Im 6'3" so its not to bad.

8/24/2010 i had gastric bypass. I lost 100lb in the first 90days due to not being able to eat anything.

Pre surgery I was 405lb, now I'm 177lb. If it happens for you it will take some getting used to lol. I had to find a new center of balance & get used to no beinng able to "put my weight into it" like pushing someone's stalled car out of traffic... Good luck! )

I had my surgery 8/24/2010 and still never feel hungery or full, I see it as a blessing. Food no longer controls my life. All the best to you!

Ya, I do an extreamlly phically demanding job where if I ate 3-5 small meals a day I would never be able to take in enough liquid to stay hydrated. So I forgo solid meals all day and just eat dinner. 48oz crystal lite and 2 level scoups of GNC unflavored whey, Ice cold!!! Try the unflavored, put a teaspoon in soups, chilies ,pudding but be careful of to much, it can cause kidney stones.

8/24/2010 I had bypass, 30 days later I had complications and passed 2 units of blood, then had 120 days of slow recovery from blood deficient enimia. I wouldn't change anything, it made me respect my tiny tummy that much more!

30days after RNY a 1 inch square peice of chic wrenched my gut so bad that I bleed out. I still can't do chic & pork is a little tuff. RNY 8/24/2010 @ 404lbs 177lbs and holding Wish y'all the best in your journey!!!

I've been hooked on GNC unflavored whey powder mixed with Crystal Light raspberry lemonade, I love it. You have to experient, you'll find your thing in time. Good luck to you!

I can tell you that 30days after surgery I had a one inch square peice of chix, I chewed it 40+ times and had stomach wrenching that caused inturnal bleeding that sent me back to week one diet, I passed 2 units off blood. My situation was extremely rare, but I would wait 90+ days before I tried that. Good luck, sounds good.

In my case my taste buds where so out of wack that everything tasted like poopoo,lol. I just went with split pea everyday. (
