Well that what i picture my husband, my 12 year old daughter and 5 year old twins and the dog, cat, and the ferret running around the dinning room and food all over the place. Maybe i should make them eat outside...... lol

Probably would be easier but wouldn't want to see the mess that my twins would leave if daddy was in charge of the table

Congrats on not smoke......as a smoker for 16 years minus my pregnancies i totally understand how hard it is.

It acutely helped having my husband go to some of the appointments with me so he could understand its not about me wanting to be skinny but me wanting to keep up with the kids which i haven't been able to since my hysterectomy

I dont know of any i have a diet app that dose food and water

Can't wait for tomorrow at least then i can go for a walk instead of sitting with the family at the dinner table watching everyone eat...... as a family we have always sat down and ate so camping gives me an excuse not to.

I have one week down one to go. Its dose get easier the more days u have. Or u just learn to deal with it. This weekend i am going camping with the family we will see how this goes. I think the hardest is going to the store buying food. Lol at least hubby dose all the cooking when we go camping.

Ur doctor isn't doing a nicotine on day of surgery? ? I have been smoke free for three months and was told on the 31 of may they will test me before surgery that day and it has to come back clean.

Thanks for the response.... i have had a few friends that have had this diet before surgery and they all lost 20 or more lbs. I called the nurse cause it was bothering me and she told me it because i have already put my self on a low calorie diet and have already lost 10 lbs this month -

I am almost one week in to my protein shake diet before my surgery on the 31 i have only lost two lbs ... i am wondering if its normal.... i have been doing the shakes and my extra 20 g of protein and water. -
I do powder and already made in the cans. I love the cans i can put them in a small ice chest and take them anywhere. Also my extra protein i just mix with crystal light

Yep may 31 i can't wait.... i am trying to stay busy so i don't think about food.... i know this next month is going to be hard.when i gave up smoking i took up chewing gum. I was told last week not to chew gum cause it will tell ur brain ur eating and will make u hungry...i think just drinking is telling my brain i am hungry. Cant wait though it has been a long process

I have been smoke free for three months my surgeon says 6 weeks but i had bad bacteria in my stomach that had to be taken care of before surgery. Which i am very happy is coming may 31.....i lived in San Diego for quite some time. Now i am in Wisconsin.

I am on slim fast 5 times a day i also add an extra 20 grams of protein to my breakfast shake and water for two weeks i am day number 5 -
I wish i wasn't in the middle of my two week liquid diet before surgery.....feeding the family and sitting at the table with my shake sucks can't wait till the 31...at least after surgery i can look forward right now the 31 seems so far away
