  4. PS: Do you know of any other people who have a larger sleeve? :)

  5. ...Ihope you dont mind me probing for answers... I'm still a bit afraid of the whole tiny tumy scenario. Regards, Jo:)

  6. Thank you so much for replying Josephine:) That is great news, although I've had a few people tell me some cons for getting a larger sleeve, so I'm now a little confused. Congratulations on your pregnancy!! lovely news:) Was there a particular reason you got a larger sleeve, or just something u wanted, and did you keep your weight off? Also whats your eating capacity & do u know your bougie size?

  7. .. and eating all natural unprocessed homemade stuff, I eat much less and feel satisfied with smaller portions. So for me the sleeve has been perfect to be able to watch my intake when I want to lose weight as well as alter it a bit when I want to stop (like not making the gynocologist mad for losing weight during my pregnancy) :)

  8. Hi :) Thanks for your comment! I think it was a lot easier for me with a larger sleeve. I was still able to lose weight without ever throwing up. I could eat fruits and veggies without any problems. I was able to lose 140 lbs and even got pregnant! I can eat anything without problem. When I'm having an off couple days, I notice I can eat a normal portion, and if I go back to being really good ...

  9. Hi Josephine, I hope ur doing well:) I'm really confused about whether the VSG is something I cld handle. &2b honest, the only thing stopping me is the huge jump in stomach capacity after the op. Then I heard they cld do a larger sleeve which I think wld b wonderful, but i dont know of anyone except u who has it. Hows it been? I dont mind taking longer 2 lose weight, just want less restriction. xx

Hi Bex.. am glad i saw your post on lapband site.. I'm in research mode and i want to know more about the sleeve surgery. Will check out that site you mentioned with the forum. I like the idea because its a one off procedure.. ie no fills but i only know of one person who's had it done. He is ECSTATIC about it and almost forbids me to have the band lol. I'm just afraid cos its more invasive and its NOT reversible, as well as the fact that there are so many more people you can talk to about the band it seems. I would love to have a chat with you if it was possible. My email is thereyougojo@hotmail.com . If you have messenger, add me and i'll look out for you, or maybe email me your phone number and maybe i could give you a call? Thanks for your post and the leads i got from it. Take care, Jo:)

  14. Wow birdie.. you have taken me one step further to deciding to take the plunge and have the op. You look wonderful my dear... hot even:) i hope you check in some time... says you were last in in 2007.

  15. Hi Kellie... always nice to see a fellow Aussie! Congratulations on such a great job. You look unreal my dear. I'm considering the lap band and I'm trying to get informed thats why i've joined this great forum. Seeing people do what you've done is making my decision easier. Do you have any advice for me? My email is thereyougojo@hotmail.com ... don't feel you have to:)

    Take care,

    Juwa:)
