Im at my pre op apt. so happy im moving closer to my date... What all do they do at this appointment?

Lol...it's only because in tall, if I were just a little shorter it would be a totally different story.

I started my cycle Monday of last week today is Friday, it's been 11 days and I am bleeding very have with large blood clots. I went to the ER Wen. and they just gave my birthcontrol pills to take inorder to stop the bleeding. I am concerned that I will loose too much blood to have my RNY, The birth control pills will cause my blood to clot more after sergery. I don't know why this is starting now, I was think that I could be my nerves, I want the RNY im excited about it as well as scared as *ell but, I'm going through with it. My mother told me that the woman in my family have a history of this type of bleeding at aroung the age of 40. I just made 39 in August so, I'm just in time for all the fun. Has anyone else experanced this or know anyone that has?

I was just given the birth control pills Wen. In the ER, to stop the heavy bleeding and clotting that I've been having for the past three weeks I took a total of for if them, but I'm not going to take anymore. I asked the per op doctor if these were the same blood clots that we all have a fear of after surgery and she said no, and that the two are totally in related.

She asked what my BMI was I told her 40 she asked my weight and I told her 5 10. She looked it up and said well you are just at 40. Then she went ahead with the other questions.

The doctor that can in to talk to me was not my Sergeant, it was some other doctor. One of the first things she said was "you don't look like you need this surgery." I wanted to pop her up side her head. If I didn't need it I wouldn't be here! SMH that's what I expect to here from my friends and family that I'm not telling about it, for this reason... I've loss weight and gain and loss, I'm do tired of the yo-yo cycle. I just can't believe she actually said that to me.

I think that I'm going through this right now. I'm having the longest cycle of my life right now it's 3 weeks now still on my cycle and having blood clots like crazy. I'm at my Pre-Op right now.

So last night I had a dream that a group that I belong to was kidnaped and our lives were being threatened. It's crazy because the only thing I kept thinking was Oh CRAP!!! I'm going to miss my freaking surgery date!!! When I woke up I just laughed, at that was my only concern. Lol

Looking great ladies, I cant wait until I'm 4 months out.

I plan on making beans puting them in the blender and adding water to make it a soup and just drinking it. I know that it's good for protein...
