Hey guys! I'm from Western KY and there is a little boy from my area who is dying from rhabdomyosarcoma. In his 3 relapses and 3 rounds of chemo, the 12 year old boy is always giving a thumbs up. I've been following his story for a while now and he is such a blessing. He has a Facebook page called Prayers for Lane Goodwin. He is at 95000+ likes and is trying to reach 100000. His story was actually on MSNBC yesterday. Would all my RNY peeps like his page and join in with his other prayer warriors? His story will bless you! Thanks and God Bless!

I hit onderland today!! 199.5 but that is a 1! First time in 11 years!

I hit onderland today too!!! Congrats! It's been 11 years for me! I'm so excited!!

Good job!!! You look amazing! I l have large feet (size 11) and I'm now able to buy cool shoes! It's just as fun as buying clothes!

Last week 204.6 Today 200.8 3.8 lb loss!!! So close to Onderland!!! Also hit the 80+ lb weight loss since my journey began. I haven't been this weight in 11 years!

Congrats!!! This morning I was 201.8! I did officially make the 80 lbs loss today but I can't wait to get these last 2 lbs off!

I did my first 5k today. Didn't run it all but feel very accomplished just being able to run any! What a change 3 months can make!

I really haven't been doing that much running at all. I walk on a flat walking trail but this was all terain. I use elyptical for 30-40 mins 6 days a week. The two girls I did 5k with are more advanced than I am running so i just had to push myself to keep up. We walked and jogged. New goal is to jog whole way.

My new goal is to be able to run the whole thing! I so sore this morning it's not even funny but I love it. Thanks for all the support!

Thanks so much! It really helped me mentally. I didn't have a good wt loss this week but crossing this off my list kind of made it worth it.

Today is my 3 month anniversary! 214.2 today so down 2.5lbs this week. Since surgery 52lbs! Since my journey began 68lbs. 64 more lbs to go!!

I know this is kind of trivial, but has anyone started drinking out of straws consistently post op? I'm 12 weeks out and seem to gulp too much when drinking out of bottles. Most of my insulated glasses have straws. Experiences anyone?
