I have purchased 2 amazing bathing suits from QVC - It Figures! swimwear. I am a plus size and love this brand.

I have lost 41 pounds, banded 10/22. No fills, good restriction.

I was banded 10/22/07 and have lost 31 pounds. I haven't had a fill as I still feel restriction.

1. I can tie my shoes without losing my breath. 2. My eyes don't shut when I smile. 3. My big hips have less bruises. 4. I can see my feet. 5. I can see my cheek bones. 6. I can walk much further without getting tired. 7. I can cross my legs. 8. I can shave my legs in the shower! 9. I can get out of the bathtub without 911 on speed dial. 10. I can bend over and..... Place things where you can easily reach them, wear shoes that you can slide on as bending is a little painful for the first few days. Good Luck!

I was too sore to bend or reach for about 5 days so anything that fell on the floor stayed there untill I could have someone to pick them up for me. I live alone also but had someone stay with me for a week, I couldn't have done it alone. Good luck - keep in touch!

Hi Anne3, Welcome! My procedure was with minimal pain, I was sore at the port site for about 5 days but the pain was relieved with tylenol. I was discharged from the hospital with pain medication that I took for the first 3 days then switched to the tylenol. I am already back at work. Good luck on your journey - keep in touch! Debbie

Hi Kara, I was banded October 22 and I too had port pain. Sounds like yours was much worse then mine, anyway the nurse told me a heating pad would help - it did! Give it a try. Debbie

Congratulations! The pain will slowly subside and you will begin to feel better each day. I am 11 day's out and almost feel back to normal - in fact I'm returning to work on Monday.
