GraceUtah is a wonderful, kind hearted person. She never accepted a single penny for her larger clothes, she gave them to me. She would never want to hurt anyone's feelings. She knows what she wants and can vent it here. sometimes we all don't agree with each other, but that's why we all don't look alike!

does anyone remember when someone said oh, I have to lose 20-30 lbs? then we thought yeah, right, look at me? well, now I'm in that predicament and I don't say that to anyone who is more overweight than I am because I know how they feel. I am so glad to be in this predicament and I will do this. I am 9 months post op and happy with my loss. I just remember people telling me that they have only 20-30 lbs to lose and I guess I was just jealous because I had so much more to lose. they always looked so slim that I thought they didn't need to lose anymore, maybe just trying to tell me something?:thumbup:

yes, I believe this last 20 or 30 lbs will be the hardest for me and will take longer to lose the weight. It seems like everytime I see heavier people I want to just pull them aside and tell them about my success, but I know better because I don't want to hurt their feelings and make me look so marvelous. They may be happy in their own shoes, but I doubt it.

hi, everyone I haven't lost any weight in a while and my doctor told me not to worry, he said at my bmi they wouldn't band me. so I guess I reached that milestone, he has a way to make you feel better. got to get off this plateau, definitely. I don't eat junk food but maybe I should go back on liquids for a while to jump start?

dlw, yes it's not a good thanksgiving day full, it's a hurt full feeling. I miss the good full feeling. I know the one more bite feeling sooo well. hate getting stuck. also, the slim that comes up must have some acid in it, cause it makes my lips chapped.

I was a fast eater, so fast that I didn't taste anything, now I am supposed to stop that and chew, chew, chew. well, I'm having a hard time to get to a paste in my mouth. sometimes I have to use the blender, yuk. I pay the price with a golfball feeling and everyone knows the rest. I love food, I used to eat off everyone's plate, I admit I can't do that now, but I need to slow it down, I know I need to chew, but my head is still in the eat , eat mood. I have done well, but geez, sometimes I spit out my food, afraid to swallow.
