Is there anyone who does the p90x DVDs? My hubby bought me the P90X DVD's for before and after gastric bypass surgery ..so I can exercise at home. But I still find myself using the gym membership for yoga and spin. After surgery I know I can't lift anything over 5 lbs for the first 6-8 weeks, so is walking my only option to exercise? I just got home from the hospital in Thursday, and so far, im doing amazingly well. I have no drainage from my incisions and I don't have any signs of high blood sugar either!! So blessed. :0) But im afraid im not getting enough liquids in everyday .. I have eaten 4 oz cup of beef broth overall today. 1/2 glass of Isopure. Sipping Water. Ate 2 -3 popcicles. Dear Friends, Im soo afraid of dying..there I said it !! Most everyone I have talked to, say it will be okay..bc Im healthier than most..but Im scared. This will be my first ever surgery! And I start to cringe just thinking about it. :0/ I worry the most about my legs. I have varicose veins in my lower calves. I wear thick support socks 24/7. My primary diabetic doctor said I was good to go, bc I don't have deep vein tromboises. I could wait a few months, and have laser surgery to smooth out my "bumps." But, I still worry, and cry myself to sleep at night. :0/ I have fought for this surgery for almost 2 years and been denied, and finally approved a month ago. I want it. But I can't help to be frightened. Can anyone tell me what to expect the first few hours, days, and months after surgery? Thank you. Sent from my ANDROID using RNYTalk

I stopped caffeine beverages too. Started to eat clean 2 weeks prior to gastric bypass surgery. No fried foods. No red meat. No high fat. Your bowels will thank you!! Believe me, it was easier for me to start weaning myself like that. Sent from Barbiedoll77 using RNYTalk
