    Why Isn't Anything Happening

I too went thru that stage where I didn't lose anything. But don't let it get to you. Go heavey on the protiens and exercise. And drink plenty of water. Remember with the band surgery you don't lose as fast. it's a more natural weight lose. Don't give up. I almost did myself because I expected too much from myself.

    July 4th Cook-out

Well I am new to this site, so y'all bare with me. I had my band done in 2005. I think I am the slowest loser on the face of the earth, because I have only lost around 70 pounds in 2 years. I had the band because of my health. I was taking care of my sick mom and messed around and got in bad shape myself. I kind of let myself fall into a slump this past year. (my mom died in June 2006) and I guess i felt sorry for myself. I had alot of first to get through. But I have finally come out of that slump. I plan on getting another fill within the next two weeks. Dr.Spaw at Baptist hospital in Nashville did my band. He & his staff are the best. Anywho, I went to my neices home today for a cook-out. I was real good. I made potato salad and baked beans and tree cobblers. And no I didn't eat any. All I had was a small peice of burger & dog. So yeah I was good. I love getting up and walking early in the morning and as soon as I get of here, I'm dragging my bike out and riding for awhile.Talk at cha later.
