I had them three times the morning after my surgery, Soooo painful!

I just had my 4 week post op appt and Dr. Said I have NO restrictions - "the more vigorous the better, whatever you can handle".

For reference, I am getting 0 protein. I do not feel exhausted, might just be me but I seem to do ok with my vitamins and liquids. I don't get to have ANY protein until 3 weeks post op. it is quite amazing how different each doctor's philosophy...

I also had my surgery the same day as you, through kaiser hospital in northern California. We have been provided a very strict set of guidelines as far a supplements and food (an entire binder). But through this app I have learned that EVERY surgeon, hospital, insurance is different... And so far there doesn't appear to be a right or a wrong way. Listen to your Dr., your body, and let your future lab results to tell you if you need more vitamins etc!

My doctor did a blood nicotine test on me both 30 days before surgery and 1 week before... Fortunately I have not had a cigarette in 3 1/2 years... It's so very hard to quit, best of luck to you all and stay strong!!!

Rxremindme was recommended to me by kaiser. I am 3 days post op but have not used it yet. I am still just writing everything down
