    40's New Beginnings

It will be a year on April 11 for me. I've lost 100 lbs and doing good. Still have protein in my coffee every day. Will be easier to exercise once show is gone here up north. Good luck to all the new people. Focus on healthy living not the number. I've kept losing inches when I didn't always lose pounds. So make sure to measure yourself. I have a cool excel template to keep track of inches an weight and bmi if anyone is interested. Send me your email

Welcome! What procedure did you have? Any words of advise for those of us who are fairly new to this?

Congrats! I'm a huge supporter of unjury protein unjury.com but I am currently trying isopure and it's pretty good.

    40's New Beginnings

Today is a good day and glad to have more new people on board. I'm 82 lbs down after April 11 2012 surgery (bypass) nice people are noticing and commenting. Makes a person feel good. It is not easy every day but even going grocery shopping is different and so many cool new things to try and buy. Keep it interesting eat lots of nuts and put powder in your coffee, exercise when you don't feel like it and pretty soon you will want to go for a walk. Good luck and just do it, it's worth it. I breathe better I sleep better, I'm happier, this is a choice and opportunity, embrace it and don't think negative thoughts

That sounds good!! Have you tried any other protein powders that are cheaper and still work?

Just wanted to share that I had my surgery 4 months ago today and. Have list 81 pounds. I strongly suggest unjury protein because when I ran out I isn't lose like I had been. But taking walks and moving help too which I had a hard time getting started doing that but now I enjoy it. I am glad I had surgery

Thanks i am glad it's slowing down a bit so my skin can keep up! As far as turning 40, I would nt worry about that it's all individual anyways. The bottom line is we all want to live longer and be healthier. Focus on that

That's awesome keep up the good work! Might want to use 2% milk though. That's what my doctor said I needed for awhile. The weakness is harder than the pain in my opinion. You won't feel up to doing much for about a month. So figure that into your routine an schedule. Thats just the way it will be for awhile. You will get tired out quick after doing little things. I thought the pain would be worse and once that was over I would be fine , but was so weak for long time. But pushing yourself a little more each day helps you regain your strength. I feel almost to 100% now and feel more energy with losing some weight. Good luck to you

Good luck to those having surgery soon. I've lost 53 pounds now and my surgery was April 11. So not quite 8 weeks yet. I had the last couple weeks go slower loss , but now I started using the unjury protein powder in mornings again and boom here I go again. I think the protein powder is key and also the quality of it. So I just ordered some more. Make sure you have things to eat at home before you go to hospital. The milk and broth and Popsicles etc and also some sweat pants or comfy work out pants and clothes and shoes for walking. I could not wear jeans for a long time with incisions
