Hi Everyone, Sounds like everyone is doing so great with weight loss. I am looking for yummy protein drink receipes. Does anyone have one they would like to share. I have been using this one for awhile and am looking for an easy one to try. Here is the one I do currently, 3/4c. skim milk, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 bannana, 1 scoop whey protein, ice and blend until smooth in blender. I like it and it goes down good in the morning when I have the most difficult time getting food down. Any ideas of what others are doing for breakfast? - Thanks in advance - -

Ruby, I just got my second fill on Saturday 9/29... I could hardly swallow my spit as well. I am having a really tough time this week. I have been drinking water, but only getting about 16 oz a day, because of a full felling everytime I drink. I have been having soup this week, I tried a hard boiled egg this morning and it stayed down. I was thinking maybe I got overfilled too, but I don't know. Is this what we are suppose to feel like after the second fill? -

Hi Everyone..... I have enjoyed catching up on the past 10 pages - boy I need to keep up with this daily! It is so nice to see the support everyone has for each other. I have a question about "seroma". I was banded on July 10 in Mexico. On Sunday I had leaking coming from my large incision, my doctor said it was "seroma" and not to worry about it. Well, it stopped and I was fine, until this morning. Then it started leaking again. SO I am wondering is this normal and did anyone else experience this and what is the remedy??? I am working every day and going to work with a big bandage on my incision so I don't mess up my clothes - UGGG! It is becoming a pain. Thank you for any support you can give me - Have a great day Lynette - hope your computer is working soon - call the Geek Squad Chim - hope you are doing good - your in my thoughts and prayers Kathy - hope your doing good - sending my good thoughts your way Dini - you are such a good mommy - I like to read about your adventures. Phylis - You sound like you are progressing very well. -

I was a HUGE diet pepsi fan---for years. I would wake up and drink diet pepsi! the day before my 10 day pre-op liquid only diet, I decided to give up the diet pepsi. I drank about a six pack that day just to get my fill of them. Boy did I have a caffiene headache - for two days! I couldn't believe how miserable I was not having any caffiene. I am now caffiene free and am doing good. I still think I want a diet pepsi, but I think that is habit, not real desire. good luck to all those today who need strength in getting the housework done---I enjoy housework and love my house nice and super clean, organized and put together. Put on some rockin' good music and boogie to the beat as you clean! you can do it!!! Kathy: I really like the new kitchen --- it is going to be so much more workable for your family. Your little princess is beautiful --- just like you! Lynette: I am sorry to hear about your family, I am happy to hear that YOU are making a difference in life and not choosing that path - YOU GO GIRL! TTFN :car: -

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me back! I had my band on July 10 and am doing well, went back to work on July 16. I haven't shared with anyone at work, just my husband and children, sisters and mom. I am a very open person, I just wanted this to be private because of the negativitiy that might be perceived with the WLS. After reading some of the posts, I wanted to share this tidbit of information with everyone. After surgery I felt so weird, not knowing what to do with my time and trying not to obsess over food. I found that writing down my thoughts help to keep my mind very busy. I also found that the busier I am the better off I am. Food prep and the meal itself should take up such a little time in our lives now, we should feel empowered to get out and play with our children, walk, read, knit or visit with friends. I encourage each one of us to explore something new and be uplifted with the time we can spend with this new found hobby! Have a great evening -

Good Morning to all the Lucky Sevens! I was banded on July 10th. I am too welcoming myself to this group. I have been reading the threads for awhile. Showering was an interest to me as well, before the surgery. I showered right after and had tape covering my incisions. I now have no tape, but one of my incisions is a bit leaky. Anyone have that? It is the large incision. I would appreciate any feedback. Have a great day! It's Friday! - Princess Willow -
Hi --- my name is Princess Willow and I live in Oregon. I am seven days from being banded. I am being banded for my birthday. The best present I will give myself is the gift of health. The 10 days of nothing but liquid is so very difficult. I think of eating yummy stuff all day. I found this site for encouragement and support. I am going to Dr. Huacuz. I have set a goal and am journaling. Anyone else journaling? How has that helped you? Any suggestions for getting through the ten days? --- Thought for the day..... Nothing tastes as good as thin is going to feel!!!!

Dini I am in the states, but I agree with you. I told my husband and best friend. I just don't think people will understand. I work in a hospital, where everyone is thinking if you just eat healthy and exercise you will be fit. I have tried for years with no success. I think that this site can be a big help for all those who need an outlet and support. Princess:) -

Hi - I'm being banded on July 10, only 5 days away. I am very excited and cannot wait until the day. Just found this site and then the Lucky#7 thread --- too cool. Nice to meet all of you. The clear liquid diet seems to be the most daunting thing for me, I am half way there and really would like a COOKIE!! I enjoy reading everyones posting, you all seem like a great bunch to hang out with. Until next time --- Princess  -
