Are you serious? One "nerd"? Aren't they literally the size of a crumb? Don't beat yourself up. I don't think it affected your weight loss in anyway. You're doing just fine!

Agreed! The "Oh my God, look at you!" thing got old real quick!

Is Your Surgery Still A Secret?
Jen in SoCal replied to HamDan's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Before surgery i didnt tell anyone but my family. Now I tell anyone who asks me. I've had a couple people at work who just asked recently tell me they were afraid to ask because I was off work for six weeks and they thought I was really sick. -

Terrible About Vitamins
Jen in SoCal replied to melb1976's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am constantly forgetting to take my calcium. Not sure if everyone is aware but you should not be taking your iron and calcium at the same time because they compete for absorption. I was told take them at least one hour apart and that's my down fall. I take my multi and iron first thing. Then "plan" on my calcium an hour later. I stick it in my pocket, go to work and come home at the end of the day, take off my uniform and there it is in in my pocket still! I'll take it then and then forget to take my second multi an hour later!!!! Ugh! -
Baby Belle Light cheeses are my go to snack. They are small, only 50 calories, they don't have a ton of protein (6 grams) but they're fun to eat and they satisfy me every time. I also like the laughing cow cheeses. I'll have them on a flat bread cracker that has about 5 or 6 carbs in it.

My hair started falling out like crazy about a week or two ago. I am 4 months and one week post op. I really thought I was doing well with my protein but I guess it's time to start start drinking a shake for breakfast every day again. I was taking biotin in the beginning but I stopped when I learned here and at the nutritionist that it's the protein factor that makes you lose your hair. I have noticed lately my hair is much drier that it used to be. I used to get compliments on how shiny and silky my hair was. I'm going to run out today and get the garnier shampoo Fter I take my biotin and drink a 30 gram protein shake!

You can buy Premier Protein shakes at Costco. 30 grams if protein and 160 calories per shake. They come in vanilla and chocolate. The vanilla is very sweet though and I really don't care for it.

I agree, take your pain meds as directed. It also sounds like you may be suffering from dehydration. The body aches are one of the symptoms. My advice is call your surgeons office ASAP. Dehydration is serious and you need to get some fluids in your body right away. Have you tried drinking something warm? Like herbal tea or broth? Stay away from caffeine.

Congrats!
