Surgery date 3/22/12 Weight-403 Today weight- 342

I'm not trying to talk you out of it but if I knew then what I know now I would not do it.....and I've decided that my husband can not do it!

I'm @ 13.5 someone else is @ 15 so idk how high it can go but if you're still having any issue...id address it asap

They can but revisions are risky and my surgeon said he's never done one

I feel you. They were talking about doing a revision on me as well but they said thats risky so I hope they won't have to

My 4th one dismayed me to 13.5mm. I pray we both feel "normal" again soon

The Dr said that the stricture is healed as well as the ulcer. He said he thinks it may be something psychological why I can't eat. Like because I recall how horrible it was with the stricture and ulcer so my mind is telling me I can't eat when I really can....BULLSHIT! I seriously can't eat. Well actually last night my daughter had a tossed salad and I ate 3 teeny tiny bites of lettuce and it stayed down. I know that doesn't seem like much but its a lot for me. Thanks for your concern

I had the 4th endoscopy on Wednesday. I don't really feel any better. Im almost accepting that this is just it for me...im just gonna feel this way

Hey guys and gals. So I'm back in the hospital. I hadn't eaten anything for aout 9 days bc I always feel so nauseated. I was really feeling downright terrible so I went to the emergency room on Thursday Morning. I've been here since. My arms are all swollen and bruised bc they had to poke me 7 times before they could get the iv started. They said my veins were deflated due to dehydration. I still feel very nauseated. They did a really aggressive endoscopy yesterday. I hope the stricture heals and my stomach remains open. There's a lot of scar tissue. This really isn't what I signed up for and yea they do mention the risks before hand but no one told me it would be this bad. I really wish I never had this surgery. So in the meantime I'm just laying here miserable....trying to get better.
