Also how soon after surgery did u get started working out? U r a true inspiration to us here on rny!!! Keep up the good work!

Hi my rny friends! I'm trying to put together a menu for our liver shrink diet. I can drink protein shakes, I'm gonna do smoothies (veggies and fruit), and lean meat with unlimited veggies all day...I don't wanna get bored with same thing every day anyone have ideas. Thanks

Hi all! My hubby and I r going thru this journey together. Hub is sch June 26, I'm scheduled July 11. We r so excited and ready for our new journey to begin( praying for no complications daily) hub got a call from dr office asking for around $3k a peice! Omg! But she did say we can get a payment plan going. Like we don't hav 6k just lying around. But I am so greatful for my insurance because I know this is am expensive surgery. Anyone else get a call at last min about money?

Not really. I asked a co worker did same thing hap to her she said yep. Actually around 2k so I feel lil better

Wow. Thanks for ur story. I am blown away at ur insurance. But I'm glad u hav great family and friends to help u thru this. I'm thankful for my situation cause I would hav no help( money wise) if it came down to it.

Anj, I've been praying for u girl! Just keep trying dif foods puréed, broth, etc. tomato soup is good. I hope it turns around soon. What hap with ur hubby? Is he still going thru with it?

Rt side high is ur liver area pob gas in that area. If it stays for long time tell ur dr. Hope u feel better soon

Cool I have some ideas. I hear a lot of people hav trouble with chicken, so I'm gonna have other choices just in case. I've heard some people doing chili and purée it. I'm so scared of that phase but I'm gonna make sure we have a lot of choices. I hope and pray all of us have no complications and heal properly. I am gonna do my best to follow all the rules. Didn't realize how hard it will be around my co workers that eat out almost every day. I said I was gonna test myself only eat what I brought and no more fast food but I keep getting like something small I've said no a few times and I feel great afterward but I am gonna have to seriously deal with this...any help guys!!
