Ok... I just turned 15 Weeks post op and my arms are super flabby! I used to use the resistant band for my workouts on my wii, but I just recently started lifting weights. Im currently using 10lb weights and they are kicking my ass! I was also told that lotions with collagen might also help with elasticity. I feel so bummed, because my arms have always been big, all my life. And now they are flabby. on a happier note, I have lost a total of 74lbs which makes me super happy! Sweet

Something similar happened to me too! But I got a rash on my back. Eventually it got better on its own. Could just be all the changes your body is going thru. Mine lasted til about 8 Weeks post op Sweet

just got home from the County fair, where I witnessed so many people indulging in filling their bodies with unhealthy deep fried foods! deep fried butter, twinkies, oreos, moon pies, artichokes and so much more.... having this surgery has really made me a healthier person, and has educated me on HOW to eat right. best thing I could have ever done. ALthough I have to admit, the smell of smoked bbq tri tip drove me bananas! it smelled so good lol. on the other hand, I was able to buy myself a lemonade and NOT feel guilty. it was a Texas style lemonade, which had slices of fresh lemon, orange, and lime and topped of with a cherry. it was sugarfree and delicious! yay! Tried beef Jerky for the first time today! And it was a complete success! It was easy to chew, lean, and full of protein! It was even peppered..mmmm! My new favorite snack. For dinner I had a small cup of shrimp cocktail [minus the shrimp] im not too big on seafood. But the soupy stuff and the veggies...Yummy, too! What a good day, opposed to others where everything makes me sick Sweet

Weightloss Stalls?
sweet replied to fattypattynomore's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
well everybody is different. I hit a stall at about 8 Weeks post op and lasted about 3 Weeks. then it picked up slowly, and now I'm 14 Weeks out. this week I lost 7 lbs. last week I lost 4 lbs. hopefully it continues. just remember that no two people loose exactly the same. it depends on your starting weight, and whether or not you are following the nutrition plan.
